The grounds were pleasant and the rooms (like a motel) were adequate. However, the decor was as if the victorian style had been tried to be updated. The owners were pleasant enough but were sometimes hard to find.
The breakfast menu was the same every day but we were duly presented with it every morning. Two pieces of already buttered toast arrived with our choice and one cup of coffee. A second cup was difficult and more toast impossible.
The location meant that there were no satisfacory restaurants in the area (the b&b prices were ridiculous) so one had to eat elsewhere and have a long drive back at night.

Stayed here on an Inntravel holiday so can't comment on the costs to stay here.

It was just a bit early for the summer season when we stayed so it was very quiet, the rooms were a good size and clean, plenty of clean towels, but a lack of towel rails! Bed large and comfortable. No air conditioning, but it was not so hot so it was not a problem for us, but there was a large fan in the room.

Evening meal was average, breakfasts good.

Proprietors very friendly and helpful.

Absolutely pristine auberge in the lovely little town of Petit Saguenay. Looks as if it was built last year, because it's incredibly well cared for. Large room has external and internal entrances. Public areas beautiful; far more spacious than expected in a B&B. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Proprietors very helpful with advice.
Note that it's 90km from Chicoutimi, so the address given on Tripadvisor could mislead.
We booked though Inntravel on a self-drive holiday through Quebec, so aren't sure about prices of individual lodgings.

Lovely place, spacious room. Nice area to sit out in the back, with a great cliff view. Our 2 kids especially loved that they could run around. Friendly folks running the place. Great breakfast. They also serve dinner, but we couldn't eat there because we are vegetarians. ~4 kms from the Petit-Saguenay Quai (quay?), which is very beautiful. Pretty close to the Petit-Saguenay beach, which was just ok. There are quite a few hiking trails nearby. Couldn't go with 2 young kids, but given how scenic the entire area is, sure they are spectacular trails.
