We were on our way from Bellagio back to the airport and stopped as this little restaurant for lunch. The staff were very attentive despite sitting down at the time the restaurant was "closing." We were there on June 2, 2014 which is a national holiday. We had great pizza and moved on to MXP in Milan. When we went to check into the hotel, my husband realized he had left his "man purse" on the back of his chair in the restaurant-- OUTDOORS! We drove back 1.5 hours to the restaurant because we could not recall the name or the town we had stopped in to call them. His passport, cash and camera were in that bag. The proprietor had seen it, taken it inside and looked for a way to phone us- but alas- no id or business cards.... This was a happy ending to a very tense day and we have nothing but praise for the fact that he was there with the restaurant still open waiting. "i knew you would return for that passport." Not only was their food great but also the wine. They even brought me out a glass seeing how I was in tears over the ordeal. Thanks again to a great owner of this restaurant. We wish you all the greatest success. For those of you who scoff at Italy as a place to always watch your belongings....here is a different sort of place in a very touristy area where one generally expects the worst. As to comments about it being pricey- all I can say is that they had not been to Bellagio. I thought the prices were very fair for the food. Next time we hope to try the larger menu- thanks again!
