This had been open a month when we went and the young people running it were working hard to make it a success. The old post office has been turned into a stylish reataurant with an upstairs dining area and a cellar bar with more tables. The bar looks as though it has been made from a huge old set of post office drawers and the wine list is good and reasonable price (though you could have one bottle for 144 Euros if you felt like splashing out) My pasta with smoked fish and roast tomatoes was delicious and my husband's plate of cold meats was generous and had a few local oddities. My spatchcock chicken and vegetables was delicious and generous but my husband's lake fish was rather on the small side - two would have been a better portion. Our Tuscan Chardonnay was buttery and delicious and the puds were fine.
Overall it was a good dining experience, sociable and more upmarket from the slightly touristy pizzerias and trattorias. Locals and friends of the owners seemed to be eating there.
