Hotel Risi is perfectly located. My wife and I stayed in this hotel when I visited Colico (Italy) for business.from the 4th floor, the appearance of the mountains, seaside buildings and the lovely blue color lake is breathtaking. The staff are very warm.

Room Tip: The view from the 4th is amazing

stayed here on a business trip in August 2012 for what was suppose to be a week but was cut short to a night :)
Fantastic location, friendly staff who are very accomodatiing, i arrived late due to getting lost (several times) and the chef even made me a quick meal before he left, very nice.
i'm heading back again next month and will definately be staying here again.
the oonly thing that let it down was the decor (dated) of the rooms which could be the style for Italy (no offence)i don't know, this would still not put me off. Hopefully i'll get a suite next trip.

Room Tip: get a room (suite prefferably) with a lake view.....awesome!

My husband and I stayed here for 10 days in july. Lovely room with basic furniture but perfectly adequate. Small gripe as we were on the 1 st floor we couldn't see the lake just the trees. However the view from the restaurant was wonderful. Of course lovely Italian food reasonably priced and great service from all staff. Our WiFi dropped out a bit but in the scheme of things it didn't matter. Love Italy love Lake Como. Recommend this hotel.

Hotel Risi has the most perfect location right on the lake, however the hotel really isn't all the much. The rooms are old and need some renovation, the beds are rock hard, aircondtion not working in the rooms I had. Lake view is amazing, but if you don't get it you might as well keep the windows closed.

The restaurant has really good food.

Room Tip: Stay clear of room 101, it gets a terible smell from the kitchen in the afternoon.

My wife and I stayed here for 1 night while travelling through Italy.
We had originally booked to stay at Bed and Breakfast DaDi but decided against it after viewing the rooms as we thought the B&B quite depressing.
While the hotel generally is quite old and quite dated it is positioned right on the lake overlooking the pier.
We found the staff friendly and helpful with reasonable English.
The breakfast was just average continental.
