We stayed there for 2 nights from October 12th-13th. The BB was nice and clean. It is located in Lazzeno which is a few kms to Bellagio. A breakfast was good. The owner was very friendly and very helpful. I

After 3 1/2 weeks of traveling in Italy, Lake Como & Nest on the Lake were a perfect combination to wind down our trip. From the start, Tino was wonderful to work with & helped us arrange a driver from Milan's train station & our return to Milan's airport. He was very helpful with figuring out the ferry logistics, as in October the schedule is limited. It is especially limited in and out of Lezzeno. We used the bus to & from Bellagio to get ferries around the lake. It is only about 20 minutes away. It worked out just fine not having a car. The B&B is really a lovely place with fully updated rooms and balconies facing the lake. Our room was large and the bathroom was nicely appointed. The place was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was self serve & had a nice array of options. Lezzeno has a limited number of restaurants, so keep that in mind. The best of the lot was Abate, nice fish. Would definitely recommend Tino & his lovely B&B.

We found this magical b&b at tripadviser and made the reservation. It's much more beautiful than the photos. Do not second guess and stay there. The room was big, with fully equipped kitchen and unbelievable view of the lake. The owners were very kind and welcoming.

We stayed two nights here - it's a very convenient location - we were able to leave our car for a while and travel on the ferry boats around Lake Como - delightful. Tino is very knowledgeable and helpful, the rooms are spotless (not very big, it's true) the breakfast buffet is great and there are a number of good restaurants within short walking distance. The view from the balconies of the rooms is just glorious (even in the rain). Recommend highly and would definitely return.

We visited Lake Como and stayed at The Nest on the Lake to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary - and we are so glad we did. We had such a fabulous time with wonderful memories.

Tino (what a character, such fun) and Raffa, the proprietors, were lovely and welcomed us on arrival. Our room was situated in the red building, 2nd floor (next to the garden) newly refurbished, with comfort, spacious and shiny new bathroom - spotlessly clean. We had a quaint balcony with table & 2 chairs overlooking the lake, which on arrival we shared a bottle of lovely Prosecco given to us with compliants from Tino, this started our holiday off perfectly!

The breakfast was vast, all sorts, the best hams - what a selection, you could not ask for more. Tino was always on hand to give advice and help which any queries, from places to visit, markets etc etc. He directed us to a couple of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel - which were fab. Also the Hotel Aurora a couple of minutes away has a very good family run restaurant - the food was just yummy.

The ferry pick up point is about a 10 min walk away and we visited various places but loved Bellagio.
All in all very convenient. Lezzano is a sleepy village and beatifully positioned. We were so glad that we didn't book a hotel in Como Town - too industrial and busy.

We also did the Greenway Walks, 3.5 miles of it anyway, which at least was a bit of exercise to
burn some calories! Visited open Villas - but did not cross with George (Clooney) or Richard (Branson) but did see their wonderful homes on the lake from the ferry crossing.

As you can read we cannot recommend The Nest highly enough.
In time we will definitely return and look forward to Tino's second to none hospitality.

Room Tip: upstairs with balcony rather than ground floor - take in the great sunsets

We stayed 4 days at Nest on the Lake and had a great time. The room was spacious, very clean, a comfortable bed, with views of Lake Como from the balcony. Constantino and his wife were welcoming, very helpful, and fun. The breakfasts were the best we had in 6 weeks of travel...meats, cheeses, fresh breads and a toaster, fresh pastries, large bowl of fruit, boiled eggs, jams, jellies, coffee, juices and the best was that we ate on the lovely large balcony by the water's edge. Constantino shared a glass of wine with us one evening and when another guest's daughter had a birthday out came balloons and candles...They went the extra mile. This B&B is in the town of Lezzeno which had a great restaurant nearby, small markets and bar. It is close to all the towns surrounding Lake Como and both the fast and slow ferries stop there. Will return.

Room Tip: This B&B has options for room sizes including a couple with small kitchens..all have balcomies o...

From the moment you arrive you feel like you've just been inserted in the family life. Children racing around; happy noise as they swim and play on the beach (note the beach is rocky rather than sandy); daily chores being done. As mentioned by others Nest On The Lake is not a luxurious resort ... but rather a clean, sincere family run operation providing great value. The glass of wine upon arrival was the first sign we were going to enjoy ourselves. Sitting on the terrace overlooking Lake Como with a nice Italian white wine was much appreciated after the drive along the very narrow, twisty roads from Como.

Our room was simple yet very nice with a fantastic view over the lake and a nice little terrace with railings covered with grape vines. The bed was comfortable providing for a nice sleep although if you want to sleep in (e.g. recovering from an overnight flight) you will start to hear noise as early morning activities get under way.

Constantino is the perfect host - helpful, informative and interested in your trip. Whatever suggestions you may want - visiting nearby towns, ferries, restaurants - just ask. We took him up on his recommendation to eat at da Abate - perhaps a 10 to 15 minute walk, enjoying it enough to return our last night.

Breakfast is typical with yoghurt, lots of fresh fruit, eggs, salad, breads, croissants, cookies, meats, cheese, juice, cereal, coffee etc. - more than anyone needs.

And if all that was not wonderful enough the price is extremely reasonable, given the location right on the lake. The Lake Como area is very picturesque. We're so glad we chose to visit during our trip and very very glad we chose Nest On The Lake to stay.
