Traditional plates were really tasty, and the price was perfect! Walked a lot to arrive there but it was worth it!

One of the best Italian rifugios. We walked up from Bellagio and enjoyed the walk, views and traditional mountain food.

To reach this mountain restaurant you have to walk for about 15 minutes in the italian prealps. You reach the place in 1 hour by car from Milan. You have to park in the woods and then climb a normal steep however not difficult country road, you'll be in a mountain slide with cows around. From the restaurant you enjoy a beatiful view of lake Como. The food is good and traditional with the tipical corn dish Polenta. It is a nice trip in a clear skies day. Children can enjoy the trip.

Nice walk up from the car park, fresh air and mountain scenery. Food looked heavy though: polenta and meat in sauce. We stuck to the cake, which was delicious. But bring a jacket in springtime, it can be cold outside!
