This hotel has excellent staff, comfortable rooms, modern with nice bathrooms. Very clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet is nice. And a New York deli/bar in the restaurant with good burgers.

And right next to a big mall. Good for business trips.

This is better than average business hotel. Everything is clean and room is comfortable.
Breakfast is excellent but expensive. Same applies to room pricing.

Hotel location is convenient if you arrive from airport and stay on the area, but it is far away from downtown Frankfurt.

Nearby huge shopping center is within walking distance but the i recommend taking flashlight with you to get there safely during evening.

I was there for 2 nights during a business visit to Frankfurt last month. The hotel is away from the city and in the night no lights in the street. You can't walk out for any reason after sunset.

The staff were really friendly and co operative to say. Check in and check out were really smooth with out any hassles. Rooms were really big with rooms interconnected !! All rooms have mini bar, but up on seeing the price list you may not tend to open it. Bath room floor was cold and it was simply like walking over ice, with no slippers provided.

In the room high speed internet available, first 15 minutes you get it for free and after you should pay 5 euros for 24 hours. But remember your need to pay for each device you are connecting to the network, that means if you use both mobile phone and laptop, you will end up in paying 10 euros per day.

Break fast was not included and I paid 21 euro for the same. It was really elaborated, but expensive I think. Dinner was limited with only a few dishes, but it was tasty to say. They can reduce salt but I think.

Overall it was an average deal in my view ...

Friendly reception, multi languages.
Spacious rooms, clean, nice shower. It was a pity that for such a price, there was only 1 piece of soap in the bathroom, no other small samples available.
During the night it was annoying that the light of the minibar (transparent glas door) could not be dimmed.
On my checkout day, housekeeping knocked on my door before 8am and came in: why?? I heard similar stories with my colleagues. Annoying!
Breakfast was nice, a lot if choice, good service. Sometimes annoying that they came and took your plate when you were still finishing your plate.
Dinner in the resto was so so, nice menu but the food was not very tasty and very (very!) salty - and I like salty normally, but this was a bit too much. I ate pasta and it wasn't cooked completely.
Parking is close to the hotel and for a fair price.
Per day you get 15 minutes of free wifi, for the rest you need to pay.

Expensive for what it is..

Typical business hotel, in a business area. The only reason to stay there is if you are visiting any of the nearby company locations; area is definitively not a touristy place to be in. In general this is an OK place to stay, as most other properties of this well-known German hotel chain.

The reason I give two stars has to do with poor hotel management / customer service. When I stayed there a few weeks ago the waiter at the on-premise restaurant poured a glass of beer over myself and my suit (the waiter was clearly to blame). Given the reason one is staying at this hotel in the first place (see above) this was a rather unfortunate thing to happen, as I had a business meeting the next day. The waiter was probably new and somewhat inexperienced in how to handle such a situation, and no immediate apology or suggestion on how to handle this situation was forthcoming. Fine.

I later wrote the hotel and asked, as a minimum, for a refund of my costs for my dry cleaning bill, which was subsequently paid by the hotel. Fine. However even then no apology of hotel management was forthcoming, and the dry cleaning costs were paid up to exactly the Euro/Cent amount of the receipt I sent them, but not one cent more. Frankly, I would have expected some kind of "we are sorry" card, if not some kind of voucher, *anything*, really, to make up for the unfortunate event.

So, OK, fine, a “terrible” rating would not be appropriate, (I would have given such rating if not even my direct expenses had been paid), but I give them a “poor” rating for not showing the kind of reaction I would expect to get from a reasonably managed hotel of that price class. And yes, I do stay >200 nights / year in hotels…

During the many fairs held at Frankfurt Messe, it is good to get away from the city after a full day at the fair. This hotel is well connected by road, and staff are generally very good. Rooms are basic but large and very clean. WiFi is expensive, but it does work well. No room noise at night, and comfortable beds. In room tea and coffee service is a bit of a challenge, with filter coffee maker which does not lend itself well to making tea! Reception staff very helpful, and Viktor in the bar is tops. Only complaint is the constant problem with lifts - there is always one out of order, even at the busiest times.
