We chose this chalet for our annual skiing trip. It has the most wonderful panoramic views across the valley to the ski slopes of the Grand Massif (resorts including Samoens, Morillon, Les Carroz, Flaine).
It is beautifully furnished and equipped, with every comfort, very practical kitchen, large dining table, three large sofas, CD radio tape player, DVD. Video. ( Great selection of tapes etc) Sky TV. Log burner for those chilly nights.
There are 3 bedrooms plus a mezanine sleeping area. Two shower rooms, plus 2 WCs, and a further large family size bathroom with twin sinks, bath with shower over, bidet and WC.
On the plus side although this is a self catering Chalet all the ingredients for breakfast ( Bread, butter, jams, coffee, tea, milk, sugar, fruit juice) were supplied for the duration of the stay at no extra charge, along with bath/shower and hand wash liquids, tissues, washing up and dishwasher tabs.
Sheena, the owner looked after us very well, very unobtrusively cleaning the chalet every day and making sure that our skis, boots and clothing were dried every night ready for the next days skiing. Nothing is too much trouble for her and she made us feel very much at home.
The chalet also has a mini bus which took us to and from the slopes daily at no extra charge and would even call in at the supermarket for us to do shopping after skiing if we had wanted it. You can also arrange to be picked up at the airport(for an extra charge)
All in all this chalet was a fantastic find and I would recommend it highly. Not just for a winter skiing holiday but also for any time of the year. There are some lovely walking areas around, The chalet is south facing situated at 3000ft above sea level.
