Stayed first week September as a couple in this lovely hotel. The rooms were spacious; plenty of hanging space and drawer space, with fridge and kettle provided. The upper rooms are probably better than those with a terrace. Buffet style breakfast, plenty of variety ie cereal, yoghurt, fruit, boiled eggs, ham, cheese, savoury pancakes etc. Pool area was spotlessly clean with comfortable sun beds and sofa type chairs. No problem getting a sun bed. Excellent service at pool bar for drinks and snacks. Sula, a lovely lady, very friendly seemed to run the show as regards pool bar, serving food, breakfast etc. Beach 2 mins from hotel with plenty of sun beds and parasols 5 euros. The beach shelves quite steeply into the sea and is, therefore, difficult to get out so beach shoes would help, also for strolling along the beach. We had lunch at the two tavernas close to hotel with good standard of food and service. Ten minute walk into town where there are plenty of restaurants. One of our favourites was the Manor House. Will definitely be going back some time. Having visited Majorca in June we found Kefalonia prices to be far cheaper all round.
