My sister and I stayed at these studios for 1 week in July. Our room was above the bar area overlooking the pool, sea and undergrowth next door down which there was a nightly parade of goats. I think we had one of the best rooms with regards balacony as we had no trouble getting the wifi. It would appear not so for a lot of people as during the evening the bar became an internet cafe with lots of faces constantly lit up by phone screens. The staff were friendly and helpful on arrival but we found that unless we made the first move to interact with them during our stay they we very much monosyllabic and surly looking. The room was spotlessly clean with a welcome pack of water, tea bags, coffee and UHT milk upon our arrival. I would suggest that you go for the air conditioning at the height of the season. The pool is cleaned to a high degree but watch the walkways around the accommdation as the slightest drop of water makes them very slippery. Skala beach is very long with varying qualities of sunbeds on offer. We went for the posh looking ones opposite the Regina De Aqua hotel. They are open to the public and cost 6 euros a day for 2 sunbeds and a brolly. The guy collecting the money is very friendly and even serves drinks to your bed. I...More
