We stayed the final week of August. Our holiday was organised with Thomson. The accommodation is fantastic value for money. It is all very clean - our room was cleaned every day and the pool and bar area are spotless. The room 504 had a beautiful view of the sea and we enjoyed a drink on our balcony. There were plenty of sun beds by the pool at all times of the day, both in the sun or in the shade. We ate at the bar a few times and the food was excellent. Great friendly hosts too. The walk to Scala beach and town was not too far for us - we felt that the accommodation was close to facilities.

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with the beautiful pool area and reception and found our room to be spacious, clean and with wonderful sea views. The family who run the hotel were truly friendly and the food available throughout the day from the bar was fabulous. We were so comfortable and met so many nice people, we barely left the hotel!! The greek night was brilliant and we had such fun dancing around the pool! There was one guest one was causing a fuss over his friend's room whilst we were there and all of the other guests were disgusted with them for treating the family so badly! It was hard to believe that anyone could complain as the rooms were spotless. It had something to do with the fact that the view was over the car park, but not every room can have a sea view!! Highly recommend you to try it and great for families.

Recently returned from Crystal Palace in Skala. We spent one week and can highly recommend this hotel. Spacious and clean accommodation with lovely sea view balcony. Fair sized pool, ideal for families or to swim lengths - not too deep for our kids of 8 & 11. Weather was very hot - stunning. Credit to the staff who worked tirelessly during our stay. Excellent pool side bar and a great Greek night BBQ. We had a huge apartment with mezzanine floor which was ideal for us for two children. Skala town had plenty of places to visit and eat. Take water taxi for trips to other coastal towns too for a great day out. The hotel is set on hillside and has a lovely relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We've been to several Greek Islands over the years and have booked to go back next year already in 2017 for 2 weeks. Highly recommended.

Brilliant place to stay. Everything so clean, had thought of things you needed for self catering. Stunning views of mountains and the sea. Room 307 quite a trek to get there from the bottom so if you have walking problems not advisable but I am sure there were lower rooms with lovely views but ours was stunning.Air con was a must. If you like a bit of history Old Skala worth a visit we got a taxi which cost €12 each way but was well worth and a lovely taverna there.

Room tip: Ease of access most probably the 500 rooms. Our room 307 was lovely and spacious with three beds.

We stayed here in July 16 place is lovely great views! Appt had two balconies and was spacious. Nice gesture to leave water in fridge and washing up liquid , teas and coffee sachets. Air con 40 E per week which was needed as so hot! Pool area lovely and bar good prices and lovely food and drink. Beach 10 minutes walk, OK on way down but steps coming back place is very hilly!! In the heat it's exhausting!! Skala town about 20 mins walk, we got taxis back 5E to avoid the climb! Lots of lovely tavernas to choose from , there is Roman villa but after trying to get in twice were told it is never open to public which is a shame . Lovely place would definitely go again but maybe in September instead as soooo hot .
