“Lovely enjoyable stay :)”

I had booked this holiday for a nice break away for me and my niece that had just finished. School
Well I booked and then read the reviews an felt very worried about going. And even thought about changing the hotel I had booked.
Well we first arrived it was quite lake but first impressions was wow the. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful when up to our room to find a beautiful view over to the mountains and pool and a Newley decorated room with new furniture .

Food is not all the same. And not reheated for dinner. But the range of food you get to choose from is very good for the price you pay always salad and fruit ( I'm a chef by trade and really wasn't as bad as people have said theirs always something for someone )

Best of all it's a. 2 min walk and your on. The beach. If you take a left. And keep walking you will go thought. as coma were their is lots of restraunts . / cafés and lots of shops. ( open to very late ) and lovely atmosphere in the evenings. Also among the shops their is a lot of rental places were you can rent bikes and trikes and cars. Very cheap. And on a daily rate. Their is also a little fun fair with a bar which is open at night.

If you take a right it's not so nice but their is a little shop were you can book all your excursions from and they are very friendly and helpful.

Please do not read the bAd reviews. It's a very nice hotel and close to beach and nightlife.

Thank-you for a lovely holiday.

Luckily our expectations were low but even so there were a few disappointments.
We were in the annex which was a separate building which wasn't an issue for us as we were away from the pool and music and we only ate at the hotel for the last breakfast but we stuck to the bread rather than risk the food. I would suggest that its not worth paying the all inclusive rates for this. There are various places nearby with very decent food options.
Heads up!
Most people had problems with the locks on the doors. We couldn't get into the room we were assigned, even the maid couldn't open it with her master key so we were moved to another room.
It appeared to be a 'work in progress' as there was half a bottle of screws in the bathroom. There was no aircon and no windows that opened so we had to have the door open which was very noisy. There was a table but no chairs on the balcony. The handle on a cupboard came off which made using the unit difficult.
The towels were only changed once or twice during the week. The sheets were changed and were only made every other day.
The bathroom was fairly clean and the shower was nice but I didn't risk using the bath until the last day after cleaning it while showering during the week!
Having said all that it was close to the beach and restaurants which is what we were after.
It was an experience but there are no plans to return here.

Room Tip: The annex is 30 seconds walk from the main building which means its not as busy or as noisy (pool mu...

Well.. Me my partner and our 1 years old went on an 8 day all inclusive holiday here and we had an amazing holiday shame i cant say the same for the hotel! Although it wasn't as bad as half the silly reviews i read! The pool was nice could do with a clean tho! The food yea its awful whatever your tea is, is the day afters dinner and its chips with every dinner and tea! Yes people saying you get what you pay for but i don't think if you bought chips from the chippy twice a day for 8 days it would cost as much as you spent for you holiday??? Our room i cant complain about, our daughter was in a proper cot not a travel one yes the heat was unbearable in the rooms but we hired a fan from reception for the week and it was better, especially for my daughter (an eczema sufferer) the all inclusive drinks were ok too, there was no lettuce wrapped in leaves or black water as people described, proper coca cola, you get beer, whiskey, vodka, tia maria, malibu, peach schnapps and many more on your all inclusive. All inclusive does however finish at 10 clock but me and my other half would go up then and settle baby anyway. We had our room cleaned everyday and fresh towels, although alot of people warned about the lifeguard he wasn't the problem it was the baldly married with 2 children barmen who was giving everyone his number chasing the young girls kissing all different one round the pool! (The shame of him) thinks he Pitbull! The owners lively reception staff lovely, although they advertise a gym and an indoor swimming pool its never open so don't bother going for that they will always tell you they are "broke" they aren't, they just don't want to pay to keep the maintenance on the pool! Overall the hotel isn't that bad it is only a 2 star after all, and overall we enjoyed our holiday!

Me and my boyfriend have just arrived home after a week in Sillot, staying at Playa Blanca hotel. And we wish we could of stayed longer! On here there is a lot of 'you get what you pay for' but for the £150 we payed each for flights, transfers and accomodation with bed and breakfast we were pleasantly surprised with what we found! We arrived late, and someone at reception welcomed us and gave us our key straight away, the hotel is big, bright and had a fantastic energy about it. Everyone is laughing and having a great time. Our room was fine, everything we needed, being beds, wardrobes and a balcony with a great pool view. The bathroom was fine and if you wanted your towels changing they were more happy to do so. The cleaner came every single day which was great because we often got the floors sandy! We had breakfast as part of our package which concisted of hot food, quassonts, bagguets, tea, coffee and much more. This was perfect to start the day off. The pool area is clean, so is the pool which is nice and cold as it was extremely hot. Lots of sun loungers and umbrellas available. A choice of two beaches was available at a 10 min walk at the most, we preferred the smaller beach in sallot as it had many great restaurants and bars on the sea front so we could enjoy a beer with a lovely view. There are many places to eat of an evening, or lunch, in both sa com and sillot. Our favourite by far was 'restraunt Atlantic' in sa coma which was a 20 min walk all the way down the strip of bars in sa coma, but well worth the walk! We went 5 nights out of 7 because the food was beautiful and there was plenty of it! I would recommend their rack of ribs, scampi and chips, steak with peppercorn sauce and slow roasted lamb, all were cooked to perfection, and for a meal and a drink it will cost no more than 15 euros per person. One day we went on the safari trip, my favourite day. Free transfer from the back of the hotel and only 19 euro for adults and 12.50 for children. It was fantastic, you start by having a safari ride where you meet many gorgeous animals such as rhinos, giraffes, monkeys, hippos and I even got to stroke a zebra! Then you arrive at the zoo and get too see elephants bathing and many more amazing animals whilst walking round! If you fancy staying out late there are two bars that are lively and open till about 4 in the morning, crazy monkey bar and the one next, they have buy one get one free on cocktails at night, and there is the Olympic bar too which was always buzzing. The staff at playa blanca hotel were great especially the ones behind reception who helped every time we needed to know anything. There is a bank behind the hotel and a travel office across the road. We had a late flights and had to be out of our room by 11, and due to how busy the hotel was we couldn't keep on a room, so they were kind enough to offer to lock our suitcases in the office and we were able to shower downstairs so we could enjoy our last day by the pool with no worries! Absolutely nothing bad to say about this hotel, me and my boyfriend are keen to come back and have another amazing holiday! Don't be disheartened by negative reviews, you can't be fussy when you're paying so little! Thank you Playa Blanca for a fantastic week in Sillot, Mallorca. See you next year.

We stayed there for a bargain price half board for the week in an annexe. Yes there were a couple of teething problems but the staff were helpful and Juan the owner came and sorted out the issues himself with his maintenance manager. If you go early for dinner the food is hot and if you like fruit and salad in particular there is a good selection. My partner can be fussy but we managed to find something and we only ate out twice because we like a change occasionally and the holiday had been such good value. Room was cleaned very well daily and the location is so close to the beach. No it isnt the Ritz but for £300 each half board inc flights and transfers it was a bargain. We bought a beach umbrella for 6euros and used that every day and within two mins is a nice bar Ses Ones with a sea view and the hotel Punta Amer which is fantastic value for drinks and a great restaurant Bi Ba Bo if you fancy a change or even just a drink. The beaches are lovely and the resort is busy but no overly so.

We would go again definitely if we chose to visit that part of Majorca again. I travel a lot for work in a variety of places inc 5 star and this was a satisfactory stay.

Got back on 21st June stayed for a week,ok here goes, you do get what u pay for me and the mrs paid £380 for us both b&b the food wasn't great but for the price it was fine and palatable and mostly hot,ok the rooms and the hotel are a bit shabby but we booked knowing this as were just using it as a base, the beds we're comfy the room was clean and towels fresh daily, the staff were great and had no problems with at all! The barman thinks he's Casanova and loves chatting all the girls up but that's their choice! Oh and he can't sing lol but no complaints at all is u want a 5star hotel spend £1500 and go somewhere else simples,we made loads of friends and had great nights in and out,the pool is clean,I don't know why people complain when the price is so low,I'm sure some people go on holiday to complain instead of relaxing and enjoying themselves
