Location is fabulous, opposite the beach, with a well stocked shop next to beach which was reasonable. We booked a self catering studio, but when we arrived they upgraded us to half board free of charge as there had been a mix up and they no self catering rooms till the next day, but said we could stay all week half board as their mistake, we hadnt even complained they just offered us half board, nothing wasv too much trouble for them. Housekeeping was every other day with fresh towels. We had booked a sea view room, which is worth the little bit extra. Location is great as this hotel is next to beach and close to a variety of bars and restaurants, the irish bar Kenna's is a must for fabulous food and a good pint and lovely staff. If you book this hotel you wont be disappointed as great value for money.

Room Tip: Book a sea view room, lovely view

Me and my hubby stayed here for 7 nights from 3rd June 2012. We were in room 709 which was a basic but large twin room (we pushed the 2 single beds together! We had asked for a double room) at the back of the hotel (so unfortunately did not have a beach view). The room had everything we needed including shower and bath, enough wardrobe space, and a small kitchenette area with microwave, kettle, crockery & cutlery (though we didnt use these as it was cheap enough to eat out all the time!). Just a few things to note - there is a safe in the room but this is charged at 25 euros; there is also an air con unit but again there is an extra charge of 35 euros for use of it (definitely worth it though!); and there is a TV in the room though again you have to pay for it (ie. the remote and the aerial) at 2 euros a day (which we didnt do as we didnt watch or miss TV!). We also had a bit of an issue with the locks on the balcony window and door - the window just didnt lock (though was fixed when we reported it) and the door did lock - if you slammed it hard enough! (So we just didnt use it as it wasnt worth the hassle and the view wasnt great anyway). Breakfast was included in our rate and was actually better than we thought it might be. It was a buffet style and had most of the things you'd want including cereals, fried breakfast items (bacon, egg, sausage, beans), hams/cheeses, yogurt and fruit, with tea, coffee and juice - self-service, as much as you want so no complaints! Finally, the hotel has a decent bar (which was showing the football), a games room, a pool, evening entertainment (though this didnt sound great!), and the use of phones / WiFi. The staff were very friendly and attentive - spoke English and recommended places to go etc. And with the beach literally 200m from the hotel and the main bars/restaurants nearby, the location is fantastic! Overall we would recommend this hotel and probably would stay here again.

Room Tip: A beach view (ie. a room at the front of the hotel) would have been better

We stayed at Playa Moreia in July 2011 for 10 nights with 2 children age 15 and 7,we enjoyed it that much we returned 8 weeks later in September.Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, rooms are a bit dated but very clean and well equipped,The beach is literally steps away and is beautiful. There are plenty of places to eat nearby,we preferred"The beach bar",steaks were amazing also the welsh bar was great for food and drink, pint of lager only 1.50 euro and very friendly owners. We hired bikes for day and cycled through Punter A'mer to castle which was really enjoyable. Can't wait to return for 14 nights in July this year, would defo advise people to give this place a try, I don't think you could complain as long as you don't expect 5 star. All in all a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday with beautiful views of the crystal clear sea.

Room Tip: book sea view apartment, well worth it!

Had a great holiday. Opted for sea view studio. Was well worth it. Beach across the road shops and restaurants within easy reach. Room had housekeeping every two days though was surprised that bed linen not changed during 11night stay. Towels were changed though. Area lovely, plenty of nice walks through dune nature reserve. Will prob visit again. Relaxed atmosphere and not noisy at night

Room Tip: Morning sun at front. Evening sun at back

The location of these apartments is everything directly opposite a gorgeous beach. Shop around on booking sites as prices for the same accomm really vary hugely. We booked a 2-bed appartment for the 4 of us and were glad of the extra space. Its the only place we have ever returned to as for us even though the appartments are quite tired for the price the location is brilliant. Would say hire car essential as resort quite big but lots of places nearby to explore. Easy drive from Palma (45 mins). Did caves of Drach - great. Never fancied food at hotel after reading reviews - loads of eateries nearby. Generally good standard but have increased prices as euro crisis worsens. Top tip - check out if Real Mallorca are playing at home- stadium only 50mins away in Palma and we saw Real Madrid on one holiday which was a real treat. Would def go back as if you can pick up cheap flight and car it these apparments make an excellent base.

Room Tip: Stayed in low rooms at front very noisy from "entertainment" til midnight and higher room at back -quieter at night but bin men noisy in early hours!!
