“Perfect location but villa is in need of some TLC”

Whilst we were very happy with the location and the size of the villa , we all felt that it needs to be managed better . Everywhere in and around the villa was 'tired' and in need of either cleaning, upgrading or mending. We were disappointed with the quality of the linen and pillows . Whilst the white goods were in good working order, the equipment in the kitchen was in need of attention ! 1 wine glass , and an odd assortment of a few others for a 3 bedroomed villa ? Everything in the kitchen looked as if it had been collected from a Boot Sale and thrown into drawers and cupboards ! The saucepans and dishes provided for 6 people were a joke ! Although wi fi was available as advertised , nowhere did it say that it would be 25 euros for the week. We would advise people to keep everything locked at all times as we met several people who had been robbed whilst we were there.

“Another amazing week”
Reviewed 3 October 2016 for a stay in September 2016

I come to Tenerife 3-4 times a year and always come back to this villa! It's a perfect size and has ensuites in each room! the outside area is perfect for a relaxing afternoon in the sun. The location is great very close to shops/bars/restaurants and only a short ride in a taxi/bus in to las Americas or cristianos. Mandy the owner is lovely she was very helpful from booking right the way through until we left. Would highly recommend staying here! I will be back again next year :)

“Robbed from a locked safe”

Place is dated in appearance and doesn't reflect the pictures in advertisements ,mismatch patio furniture ,old dated interior furniture ,tv that can hardly hold a channel ,pool with missing tile pieces ,bars on doors and windows resemble a tv prison show, but to top it off we were warned for almost half an hour by the owners husband Paul about security issues and to lock everything of value in the safe and guess what , we were robbed from the locked safe ,no signs of forced entry !!! Someone had keys !!! Do not leave any valuable items in the villa or safe take them with you or prepare to lose them ,would not recommend staying there as the cheap villa proved very expensive for us

You stated you were robbed and when my husband came to see you you had not locked the gate and left the window open,.
He did mention that at the time there had been a few robberies in the area since your visit in April ( in which time just now you have posted your review October 6 months gone!
we have had a large brick wall built and had the pool re-tiled
We have clients that have been coming for 9 years and are very happy with the villa.

“Great break in a lovely villa - had a fabulous time”
Reviewed 26 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Stayed in this well presented villa with my wife and children. Lovely spacious place with all the things we needed for a relaxing break. Aircon, spacious place with TV and internet for the kids, good size pool, kitchen with all the stuff we needed, washer for our linen and a BBQ in the outside space. Had a small problem with a light which is understandable, things break. Contacted the owners who were very responsive and courteous, repair came the following morning and sorted it. Accommodation was lovely, place was lovely had a wonderful family break. Highly recommended.

“Lovely sized villa but needs alot of TLC”

Lovely sized villa with a great pool but does need attention and is a shame to see it deteriorate.
The pool has lots of tiles missing or loose in big patches, my son cut his foot on the top step with the loose tile, which is a shame as it is a lovely sized pool.
There were three bedrooms all with ensuite, the first the wardrobe smells badly of damp and the toilet was unusable as the seat was not fitted properly. The third bedroom had a light fitting which was coming away from the ceiling and on the second day the light went out, we were going to change the bulb but the light fitting quite clearly wasn't safe, I reported this to the owner but it was never sorted out. So we were left to use the bathroom in darkness & although there was other bathrooms we could use, why should we when we have paid for the use of all of them. Also, all three shower heads are in great need of replacement and the bathrooms would benefit from a complete over hall. (rip out the baths & install a decent shower cubicle) The living room had an air conditioning unit but was not working & the fans which were kindly left were so noisy it felt like you were going to sleep on the motorway!

The mattresses also need replacing as they are badly stained & covered up with plastic mattresses protectors which make you sweat & rustle everytime you move!

The sun loungers are also in need of repair.

Apart from that we had some great bbq's, the villa is a great size but is in an area a little too quiet for us.

“Dreams but not Blue”

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Callao Salvaje in Tenerife.
The service supplied by the owners was superb. Booking the villa was made easy, and any questions we had were answered quickly and clearly. The welcome pack received on arrival was very useful and lasted a good part of our stay.
The villa was adequate for our needs. Clean and tidy although probably in need of a little work (Air conditioning would be better than a fan fixed above the bed). The pool and outside space was private and peaceful.
Callao Salvaje was a lovely quiet village with everything we needed (Don’t stay there if you want to party every night). There are a few empty shop/bar units that gave a feeling that it may be struggling, but all in all very pleasant.

“Lovely villa; great location; quiet and private”
Reviewed 17 February 2015 for a stay in February 2015

We stayed here for 5 days in early Feb. Villa was spacious, clean and provided all mod cons needed. Good Wifi after re-boot by Paul TV a bit intermittent though. Sunbed cushions could do with replacing. Villa very secure and private. Nice quiet area. Pleasant short walk to restaurants and shops. Lovely little pool and heated to 30 degrees C. Excellent brand new BBQ (which we didn't use). Good comms with owners (Mandy and Paul) prior to and during stay; both extremely helpful. Parking close by a bit hit and miss (probably more of a problem in high season). Only downside was the weather - cloudy most of the time, but this is no reflection on the villa. Callao Salvaje was quite a reasonable place, but a bit limited in terms of good restaurants. Costa Adeje might be a better choice. All in all, a wonderful villa. Had the weather been sunny it would have been a really brilliant holiday. Unfortunately, and soley due to the weather, it was probably the worst holiday we have ever had. Proof of the pudding: would we come back to this villa? Absolutely. It is perfect for a couple or two couples - if the sun shines.
