This hotel has perfect location next to old city. It's only 5 minuts walk to charming white streets with nice shops and cafes. And about 5-10 minuts walk to bus station to get around island. Stuff is very friendly. Free WiFi is avalible at lobby area. Rooms are clean and big.

Basically you get what you pay for, Like the last reviewer we also stayed in an apartment but a week later from the 15th to the 20th, it was clean & had all the basics except a kettle & a bottle opener. The room faced the pool & we got the sun until the late evening as it was facing west. The room safe was only 2 Euros a day with a 15 Euros deposit.

At night time it was quiet & there was no exterior noise from the town outside. The interior walls are paper thin & you can hear the neighbours but i guess either the hotel wasn't that busy whilst we were there or as it's later in the season the crowd was possibly a little more discerning & respectful.

Theres no music or bar poolside so the place lacks any atmosphere but that was kinda nice as you could just relax rather than socialise (if you want to mingle playa den bossa is 5 mins & 10 euros in a cab).

We stayed for 5 nights & every morning (even though we went out til late the night before) we somehow managed to place the tag on the door for the cleaner & every day the room was cleaned (in a basic way) around 1pm, we received fresh towels & the beds were made which is all you really need & the room never got dirty as we didn't trash it, my only criticism is that you don't get a double bed, just 2 singles pushed together but we had already read this on a forum before we booked.

The place is perfectly placed for the Harbour & ferries (1 min walk) & the nightlife (3 min walk), the nearest beach is a 20min walk through the town to Figueretas & Playa den bossa is a further 20 mins from there so on 3 occasions got a cab to the beach & walked back.

All in all the place surprised us, we are both used to more expensive breaks & this was a cheapie for my birthday, but all in all a good basic place to lay your head after a heavy night out.

We'll deffo be back for the closing parties next year!

Room Tip: Room 508 (apartment) is at the end of the building, it faces the pool & gets the sun until late...

The hotel is in a great location but that's about the only good thing going for the hotel.

We stayed in an apartment room, the servicing to this room was minimal throughout the stay. The floor was dirty and it was a struggle to get clean towels sometimes.

The beds are so uncomfortable. I like a firm bed but these were rock hard, it was like sleeping on the floor. The third bed in the lounge was a pull out bed on the floor - so due to the poor servicing the sheets got pretty grubby rubbing along the floor - pretty disgusting.

The noise was just unbearable. It was like someone was furniture removing, all night, every night. All we heard was scraping furniture noises. Not even ear plugs helped!

There were also noisy parties nearly every night which I didnt mind so much as it's Ibiza but still some nights were excessive.

Perhaps we were just unlucky but I wouldnt recommend this hotel. We are 3 girls in their thirties and felt that on a girls holiday we'd be fine with a 'cheap and cheerful' place but this was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

Location fantastic but if you want to get any rest and sleep, seriously dont stay here.

I stayed there for 4 nights with a friend. We had a double room with balcony to the street but it was very quiet!!! surprising for Ibiza right?

The staff at reception were soooo nice and super helpful!! Really funny guy there! Can't remember his name though :(

The hotel itself is your average building with swimming pool and the sort, it doesn't have the best views of Ibiza but what makes this special is the location.... it's just perfect and I felt very safe to walk around and everything you needed was just there!!

So, if you are looking for a clean, decent hotel with great location and nice staff, go for Apartamentos El Puerto!!! :)

Stayed here for two nights while in Ibiza for a friends birthday weekend. Great central location just 2 minutes walk from the port. Changed booking from three to four guests the day before arrival and it was no problem. The hotel itself is a nondescript concrete block with eyesore views over either a municipal car park or other apartment buildings. But our room was perfectly clean and tidy, with plenty of towels and fresh bed linen. The kitchenette was functional and the fridge worked. Only real downer was the lack of air-con but we were here so little it didn't really matter.
Friendly and helpful staff, free wifi (in the reception area).
Most importantly the hotel was only a gently 20 minute stroll to Pacha and it was a lovely walk back at 7.30 am.

Some of the hotel staff were friendly. Others seemed annoyed most of the time.
When we checked in we were given a room for 3, with 3 beds. After unpacking and then heading out we were advised by the more friendly staff member that there was a room available for 2 and that we could change room if we preferred.
We did - it was in a more quiet location of the building with a balcony facing the street. And with 1 less bed the room seemed much bigger.
Remembering Ibiza is primarily a party island there are people walking around at all hours and the walls are very thin. so you can hear everything thats going on in the hall ways.
Beds are single beds, pushed together to make a double.
Air conditioner was a plus!
Rooms have no fridge (mini bar).
Location of the hotel is decent. Up the road from fast food places, and restaurants. & only a short walk to the main shopping area of Ibiza Town. Ibiza town is more lively at night, with street markets and bars open into the street.
Internet available in foyer downstairs.
Be careful the doors sometimes dont close shut properly, so when leaving the hotel room just make sure you can't open it from the outside.

From the moment we walked into this hotel it was very sketchy. We only stayed because there was no availability at any other hotel, other wise we would have left immediately. We even contemplated staying out all night until our flight so as to not have to sleep there. The entire hotel is dark and dingy. The room was old, musty and the beds very uncomfortable. It was also extremely noisy.
The hotel charges 12 euros a night to use the safe. It is obvious that they charge this obscene amount to deter people from putting their valuables in the safe so that staff can steal it.
Whatever you do, DO NOT leave your luggage in the luggage room. This is where my valuables were stolen. No wonder they put a big sign on the door saying that they are not responsible for stolen items. I've left my luggage in those rooms multiple times around the world and never had anything stolen. Stay far far away from this hotel.
