Simple but nice play to stay if you only need a plce to take a bath and sleep (which is the case of most young people who go to Ibiza!)
Good price, cheaper than some hostels and you can get a single room

I booked this hotel a month before we went and paid 600 euros for two rooms for 4 nights, so not a cheap deal but the fact that it was so near the beach was tempting. The reception was small and friendly. We got the keys to our rooms, 806 and 906 but the only way I can describe both rooms is they were like Harry Potters cupboard under the stairs. They did have very good air conditioning but no proper window, just a wire covered tiny window that looked out on to a fire escape. There was no place to dry wet towels or wet clothes. the bathroom was small, with a tiny bath with a hand held shower attachment! We kept asking for a change of room, but the hotel was full all the time we were there. We were especially dissappointed when the room opposite left their door open and their room was like a palace compared to ours with a balcony as well! The breakfast is €6.90 for pastries, toast, the worst cornflakes I've ever had, yoghurt and cheese and ham. So not cheap. The rooftop pool is small there were about 10 sunbeds, no umbrellas, and great views but why stay up there when there is a beautiful beach down the road? All in all I was very dissappointed as I had booked this for a last minute holiday to celebrate my 60th Birthday and I feel the hotel let us down badly. I wouldn't stay here again unless they told me my room no in advance!

Room Tip: Don't accept rooms 806 or 906

Positives the reception staff are helpful, the cleaner was exceptional and the did her best for a crumbling hell hole.
Negatives, double room was tiny, no working balcony light and a glass partition to the next balcony that looked like it had caught fire with flaky paint everywhere, mattresses that were like concrete. The roof top pool could be ideal but is rusting with loose tiles and a sun area that was never cleaned and overflowing bins. The sun loungers are all cracked and broken and dangerous to lay on. The roof top bar is always closed. No A/C but fans available at 4 Euros a day (note they were costing 19 to buy around the corner in Ave De Espanya). No tea making facilities in the room (took a kettle thank God). The owners need to do some basic maintenance, better still just knock it down.

Room Tip: If you are going here ask for the 8th or 9th floor for a good sea view, take a kettle and buy a fan...

Worst hotel of my life. I have never written a review. and i usually don,t read many because i think they are biased. First of all no air-conditioning in any of the rooms. They consider airconditioning having a your window open in your room which of course invites all the bugs to enter your room . so u have a choice to suffocate or get bit by bugs. Rooms are filthy let me reword, the entire hotel is filthy. Rooms are very small. Felt and looked like a prison cell. The pool is on the roof , is a decent above ground pool room with a nice view but only has room for like 2 lounge chairs next to pool and then a few lounge chairs out of view of pool so u can't keep an eye on your stuff if u go into water. No wifi, tv that was small, really old and with only a few channels. If u like staying in a hotel instead of a hostel please , please do yourself favor of not booking here!!!!!!!!!!!
A few nice points to be objective - the reception area was very nice , breakfast was simple but fresh and had a very good location in ibiza town.

Room Tip: Book someplace else with air conditioner

The hotel is conveniently situated an easy 10 minutes walk from Ibiza Old Town and vey close (approx. 50m) from a small beach. The staff were very helpful and friendly especially the receptionist in the morning who never tired of my constant questions about this and that. The room I stayed in was basic but decent despite the 1970's decor. The whole hotel was clean and functional, although there was no wifi at all, not even in the communal areas, which, quite frankly in this day and age is inexcusable. Considering that the hotel is in Ibiza the price was not extortionate, however still too much in my opinion. If you do stay in this hotel ensure you get a room on the 8th or 9th floor, as there is air conditioning only on these two floors, something you cannot live without in the height to the Ibizan summer. There is a swimming pool, but i never used it. The layout of the place was sometimes very confusing, too with two lifts ,taking you to different places. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

Room Tip: Book early (months ahead)

Thank you for taking your time to give us a feedback of your stay in our hotel, we know that we are
a plain 2 star hotel with few services but the ones we have we try to keep them up to date.
We are in the proces for the comming season to give the hotel some more services as aircondition in all rooms and we hope that we will be able to have it for the next season.
Hope that we have the possibility to welcome you another time to our hotel.

The Good: Friendly staff members, Free breakfast, Rooftop pool, Convenient location (right across from the beach, many cafes and restaurants nearby, taxi to the airport only cost 14 euros)

The Bad: No air conditioning, No wi-fi, Outdated tv with only three channels

We stayed in this hotel at the end of July and our rooms were unbearably hot. We could only stand being in the room to sleep, which we did with minimal clothing on and cold damp towels on our foreheads. Apparently you can rent a fan from the front desk for 4 euros a night, but we didn't find this out until our last night there. It's a basic hotel and not horrible, but if you can afford spending a little more I recommend staying somewhere else.

The only tolerable thing about hotel don quijote, is the front desk staff which was pleasant. We checked in and checked out 2 hours later (would've checked out immediately but we're too hungry and upset to deal with it right away) we walked into our triple-separated twin bed room to the unmistakeable smell of mold. We went to investigate where the smell was coming from, But we had no working lights in the bathroom. We thought the mold smell might go away if we aired the room out, so we checked out the pool. This pool in the pics looks huge and Georgeous! Really it's the size of a large hot tub that can comfortably fit 10 people max. (View is great) after re-entering the room, once again we were over powered by the smell of mold. This hotel was advertised with sat tv; Unless they were trying to steal sat Tv off of neighboring hotels, that went wrong, we had a total of 3 working channels that were all slightly fuzzy. There were cracks and holes in the wall, our Toilet said it had been disinfected, however there were (what I hope) espresso stains on top of the clean toilet. There is also no AC but I ran out of space to tell you how truly awful that is. Pay the extra money and book somewhere else!
