As we both got busy jobs and so we only had 2 weeks off in summertime, so we try to plan our trip always as good as possible.

We booked our holiday at a spanish website and did a follow-up by phone just to make sure that everything was ok, included our sieview, which we paid for.

Must say that there's a big price difference for this hotel on the web, it varies till 1000 euro!

We received a room on the 5th floor, that's 2 floors up by the elevator adn one stair down. It was the last room of the floor, it be honest: HORRIBLE...

No balcony, very small and extreem hot (no airco wa set on).

We openend the curtains and window, we could not believe what we saw: our view was the firestairs.

As we paid a loot of many, we could not accept this room, but the reception told us no other rooms were available (even though we paid for a larger room with balcony and seaview).

We went the next day again in order to get the room we paid for or just leave and wanting my money back. Now the reception was more helpfull than ever, and we received the room we requested and paid for.

If you've got a room with sieview on a high floor, the view is great, very quiet, although one night our Italian neighbours were drunk and decided to redecorate teh room, at 5 in the moring. One warning from the reception was enough for that.

The Hotel is a bit outdated, but has got all the needs you could espect from a hotel in this price range/

The staff is really nice (reception could be nicer and more helpfull) and the sitaution is great. Close to Ibiza town, but not to crowded.

If you rent a car, you cannot park in front of the hotel, it's a 3 minute walk to a general parking lot. (Ibiza is becoming more car-crowded every year).

I would recommend this hotel, but only that you can make sure you'll have a good room, otherwise you'll pay to much.

The location is good. With a stroll along the promenade there are plenty of cafes, restaurants, shops etc. In the evening there are lots of interesting market stalls as well. You have to remember that everything in Ibiza town seems to close between 1pm and 5pm.

The pool on a separate terrace overlooks the bay, which is great. There are a good number of sun beds and parasols, but there was an unfortunate shortage of parasol bases, so you couldn't use them!

The air conditioned bar is good, but seems to be used more by off duty staff than guests. However, the bar staff were great. Tables outside are pleasant, but the piped music can be a bit loud and intrusive..

The rooms are ok, but on arrival we were told the hotel was overbooked. We were put in the Victoria for one night, which is in the middle of nowhere. Apparently this is not uncommon in August. That said, the manager accompanied us in person (when we pointed out we had a car and didn't want a taxi) and the manager, unprompted, put a generous amount behind the bar for us as compensation.

The internet access was out of order (as it was for the rest of our stay).

The air con and ceiling fan were great but the double bed was relatively small and was uncomfortable.

I agree with other reviewers that a sea view is a real must and is definitely worth the extra!

Car parking is awkward, but there is a large parking area at the end of the road, about 500m from the hotel. This is free to use.

The food was ok, but nothing spectacular. We had a small altercation when we sat at a table for six and were asked to move. There weren't any tables laid for four - apparently we were supposed to sit at a table laid for two and wait for the other places to be provided. Unfortunately, no-one thought to tell us this and the staff attitude came across as quite abrupt and rude.

Overall I would say the location is great and the hotel is acceptable, but not as good as some reviews would suggest. The hotel La Cala in St. Eulalia was far superior for similar money.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Hotel Nautico Ebeso from 19-24 July, 2007. First and foremost, the hotel was simply amazing, a tremendous value for the cost. We had a sea-view room (Rm 716) which had spectacular views of Figueretas Beach and the surrounding area. Our room had a wonderful balcony which made for very nice evening drinking overlooking the moonlit beach and bay. The staff was EXTREMELY helpful and courteous, the room was very clean and convenient. The A/C was a MUST for the time of year, although at night the breezes coming off the water were amazing. The bartender in the hotel bar was extremely, extremely helpful (be sure to order a Hawa'i or a Tonga from him, delicious) and the pool was well positioned too. It was only about a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel on Ramon Muntaner, up to Avingunda d'Espanya, then a straight shot downtown to the port. The walk was very quick and very safe, taking you right into town. Around the corner from the hotel were supermarkets, convenience stores, plenty of great restaurants (for Italian, we recommend Marco Restaurante right around the corner on the beach), internet cafes, everything you'll need. This review may sound overly effusive, but to be frank, the hotel was clean, convenient, and much more than we expected. It really is a gem on the beach, and the neighborhood is great too: not stodgy by any means, but also not full of hipsters playing techno- and house-music until 4, 5, 6am. Easily within reach of the clubs downtown (El Divino, Pacha) and near Platja d'en Bossa (Space), and a short cab ride to Amnesia and Privilege. But by staying here, you get the best of both worlds: access to the nightlife without sacrificing access to the relaxation of a tropical paradise. We would not hesistate to stay there again and, in all likelihood, will make this our regular lodging when we come to the Pine Island. And, Yes, the photos are all mine, are all original, and were taken using my 7 year old digital camera, so you can imagine how beautiful the place really is!

We stayed at this hotel between 4th and 18th July. I originally booked this hotel for me and my partner based on reviews on this site and we were not dissapointed!

In terms of the room - we had taken the advice in the reviews and and paid the extra in advance for a sea view room - a good idea as it costs more when you get there. The facilities were standard for a 3 star hotel however what really stood out was the cleanliness of the room and on opening the curtains the fantastic view. It really is a five star view for a 3 star price right out over the bay and on towards playa den bossa with a large balcony to spend time relaxing on.. The room service is also excellent with our room being made up even if we didn't manage to surface some days until 14:30. The air conditioning is also very effective in cooling you down after hot days in the sun and the shower is fresh water unlike many hotels on the island which have salt water showers.

In terms of food it only cost about £1.50 per day extra to go half board. The quality of the food is high however the amount of choice is a bit limited. Breakfast is very busy too so you need to get there early.

Location is great and we managed to reach all parts of the island without any trouble. Ibiza Town is a 15 minute walk with San Antonio (22 euro) and Playa Den Bossa (8 euro) short taxi rides away. (You can walk to Den Bossa in maybe 30 minutes too.) You can also get boats to Es Cana in the North East of the Island and across to Formentera if you feel like it.

The staff at the hotel were all wonderful and whilst we are trying to learn Spanish we have a long way to go and we found everyone happy to speak English if needed (very different to another hotel we tried last year which shall remian nameless)

Whilst this isn't a hotel for families, actually there were practicallty no children which was great for us, it will suit couples - gay or straight who want to be in a practical location to enjoy a great holiday. The resort it'self is quietish and has 3 beaches of its own however as I've said previously the rest of the island is easily reached. If you want a fantastic vibe and sunset go to Kumharas in San Antonio Bay - the taxi fare is worth it and the food is amazing too!

Can't wait to go back to this hotel and Ibiza :)
