“A little gem of a village”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 September 2013

Take the time to drive out to Santa Gertrudis during your Ibicenco holiday and enjoy the beautiful country landscape on the way - have a wander, explore the shops and if you're lucky there may be a farmers market on so that you can sample some of the local island fare. There are some very good restaurants/cafes and most offer a 'menu of the day' which is significantly cheaper than the usual menu and has lots of great choices. We tried one at 10.50 Euros and had a choice of 5 starters, 8 main courses, 5 desserts and a drink. Great Value!!

“one of my favourite places in Ibiza”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 June 2013

I adore Ibiza, even though I went at the end of the summer and didn't partake in a frenzy of clubbing, I still managed to dance, meditate, do yoga, and feel the wild natural energy of the place. Then there were places that felt much more gentle and laid-back, and because it was late in the season in October, somewhat spacious and calm too - Santa Gertrudis was one of these places. A little village vibe with loads of charm. A small selection of cafes and shops, and a quirky feel to the place that offered a relaxing way to spend a couple of hours in the afternoon.
