What can I say that has not already been said by all of the other lucky people that have visited this stunning hotel.
I have never stayed at a hotel where I have been given such a warm and friendly greeting, we felt like family for the two weeks that we stayed.
I would suggest to anyone staying here that if you have a problem with anything just mention it to one of the family and it will be sorted very quickly, these are amazing people whose only wish is to make sure that everyone has an amazing holiday.
The food here is lovely, I would recommend the soup (everyday a different one and all really tasty) there is plenty of choice and a nice way to try some delicious greek food, although there is some more English food available if you prefer.
The rooms are great, amazing power showers. Towels and bedding are changed every two days. Plenty of storage and great mosquito screens on the doors so you can sleep with the doors open if you wish.
We have had a lovely two weeks and have met some really great people, I would recommend this hotel to all, it was such an amazing experience.
Thank you to all of the family and staff here for giving us such a fabulous holiday, we hope to see you again soon in the very near future.
Tracy and Paul x

Revisited CGB again this year after a great holiday there last year and what I can honestly say that it was just as wonderful if not better than before. <My review last year was titled The special ones and now i can say they are the very extra special ones. We were a bit apprehensive about the Half board tariff but as the choice of food was so variable a choice of five main course meals each night all deliciously cooked we thoroughly enjoyed it, although we would still prefer bed and breakfast and a waiter service evening meal. This family work hard to satisfy your needs and make you feel totally relaxed which spoils you from going anywhere else. This year the hotel offers you sunbeds and umbrella for the beach at no charge. My wife was unwell one day and Anastasia was very concerned and gave some medication to help they even offered to take her a meal to the room, where else would you get this service.Dina was so very loving to us and kept her gardens immaculate, and boss man Dimitries a constant source of help and humour. The beds are so comfortable and the cleanliness as always immaculate. This family are one in a million as is the hotel. Over the years going to Corfu we have experienced horrendous coach transfers with Thompson, this year we had a taxi transfer which was brilliant. Anastasia/Dina/Dimitries/Spiros thank you for giving us another great holiday and to all the friends we made, thanks for your company. Please visit Aghios Georgios North and help to keep this typical Greek resort alive, and help these wonderful people to earn the living they deserve. PS we have booked again for June 2015 - cant wait!!!!!!!!!! From Bob & Jill

We spent a week at this hotel in June 2014 looking for a relaxing week. From the moment you arrive the family who run the hotel make you feel very welcome and like one of the family. If you want a small, quiet hotel next to the beach where you can chill out, this is the place to go. All the staff are friendly and efficient, the food is good and the hotel kept spotlessly clean. Prices for food and drink are very reasonable (we only went on a B & B basis). The rooms have plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. Even the space above the wardrobe is perfect for storing your suitcase.
The views over the bay are spectacular. You can eat your meals inside or out on the terrace, both with great views.
Speaking to others staying at the hotel we found that many people go back year after year. I can fully understand why.

Room Tip: We stayed on the ground floor. The view of the bay would be better from one of the first floor rooms

Thank you all at Costas Golden Beach Hotel for another lovely, relaxing holiday.
Booked the day after we returned back to the UK for 2015. Only this time for 2 weeks.
All the 100% reviews are spot on. Although you do get the odd ONE or TWO who find a small detail not to their liking.
Nothing is too much trouble and the buffet meals lovely, compliments to the chef.
Met some couples who we have met before and was lovely to catch up.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms and listening to the sea, the views of the mountains are breath taking.

We stayed for 2 weeks from 2 June and had not been before although our son and daughter-in-law Gary and Marion had been many times and loved it so much so we joined them this time.

Superb in every way as we expected. The family were great and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Dimitri, Dina, Spyros and Anastasia who helped me so much with my Greek!

Love from Gordon, Brenda, Gary and Marion Morris

I visited CGB last year with a girl friend for a week, came home and straight away booked for my husband and I for a 11 day stay this year. I was so glad that he loved it as much as I had done the year before. He was very impressed with the cleanness of every area of the hotel, the standard of the food, the facilities, including free air conditioning, free safe in your room, mosquito nets so you could have the doors open at night with out fear of the little blighters getting in, and you could also have the air conditioning on with the doors open. It goes without saying all the family and staff are just outstanding with their friendliness and willingness to please. I know he had 'got it' when on the 2nd day he said ' Its just so comfortable here..' yes that's what CGB does for you.

A previous reviewer has mentioned a small problem with the cups used for breakfast, well there was a certain smell to them, so I just mentioned it to Tassia at night and by the next morning Demitris had sorted out a different system of cleaning and storing the cups, and he was straight on the phone to various suppliers to have them replaced. By the time I left he was showing me some samples that had been sent and he had placed an order for new ones. So please I would say if there is any problem please let them know so they have a chance to sort it out, if they don't know they cant do anything about it.

We have had a lovely holiday, and I certainly will be making another visit within the next couple of years.

Second visit and loved every minute. Last year was waiter service but we preferred the buffet this year because you could try as many different dishes as you liked and it didn't matter what time you went in the dining room the food was always hot and fresh due to Tassia and Deena constantly on the go topping up and refreshing it. Wish I had gone to school in Norwich if they served meals like that! Thank you Dimitri and family another superb holiday. We will be back.
