“Fantastic Holiday - We'll be back next year !!!”
Reviewed 16 July 2012

If you're booked and waiting to go to the Azuline Atlantic you really are in for a treat ! We have just returned from a 7 day all-inclusive break and I can assure you it was worth every penny. My wife and I really love these quieter parts of Ibiza and together with our 8 and 4 year old daughters we all agree this was our best holiday ever. The welcome at reception ( even at 2.30am ) was exceptionally friendly, we were offered food straight away and the first impressions were extremely positive. On entering our apartment we were delighted, so spacious, well equipped and very very clean ( this cleanliness was to be a standard feature throughout the hotel for the duration of our stay with rooms cleaned every day and all areas of the hotel kept spotless ).
Every single member of staff we encountered had a smile, treated us with excellent levels of service and made a fuss of the girls which I love to see - they genuinely seem to enjoy working at this hotel and it shows ! Definitely worthy of a special mention is Claudio, one of the entertainers, this guy loves his job !! He is non-stop fun and smiles going out of his way to ensure that you enjoy your stay, he is a real asset to the hotel. Evening entertainment and the kids disco at 9.00pm was massively enjoyed by my daughters ( they also loved the little fun fair 2-3 minutes walk around the corner !! ) . The seafront and beach are so convenient to the Atlantic which seems to occupy the ideal location in Es Canar in my opinion - a couple of minutes from everything but yet far enough away as to be quiet and relaxing at the same time.
Anything we needed to buy was close at hand ( supermarket 2 minutes walk ) and exceptionally reasonable too ( for some reason ) . Transfer from the airport is approx 30 minutes - we just grabbed a taxi at 35 Euro to save any hanging around.
Food at all inclusives is always a personal matter of taste so I can only relay my own view. We ate in the restaurant every breakfast, lunch and dinner - it would have been mad not to given the gorgeous selection of food on offer - excellent quality, selection and extremely helpful courteous staff - Mexican night was fab ! To give some balance I am a bodybuilder but also a sports nutritionist so food is massively important to me - all inclusive or not if it's not up to scratch I will simply pay for my meals elsewhere, I had no fears here, the selection of meat, fish, salads and vegetables left me very pleasantly surprised and extremely well fed !
We just loved the whole set up , it's not the sort of hotel were you rush down in the morning to reserve beds etc thankfully, there's no need here anyway, and we never seemed to have to queue for anything - they have it well sussed in my opinion. A number of guests we spoke to would definitely be returning again everyone was massively impressed.
I would agree with an earlier post reference the water polo nets needing to be removed when the games were not being played as it inhibits on the shallow section of the pool and a couple of teenagers being thoughtless and over zealous left my daughters in the firing line on more than one occasion but it's a tiny niggle in the grand scale of things and in no way destroyed our holiday - to be honest Claudio was so exceptionally good at his job and tried so very hard to include and please everyone that I didn't have the heart to mention it !!!
Worth every star **** !!!

Just home from a 7 day all-inclusive break with my husband and 2 kids. Absolutely loved this hotel, food was great although breakfast was the usual stuff so gave it a miss as well as lunch and used the snack bar with its made to order lovely food, best snack bar I have ever eaten in for an all-inclusive hotel. Restaurant food was fantastic also, we just found snack bar more convenient during the day.

A lovely surprise was turning up at the hotel at 2.30am to a meat platter waiting for us with rolls, never had this before.

I had a gripe with room (107) as view was straight onto roof, couldn't see a thing plus sofa bed that my girls were meant to share was 'musty' smelling, so we slept in it and sprayed with perfume nightly! Asked reception for a move but hotel was too busy unfortunately but it didn't spoil our holiday, we just spent less time than usual in the room and none on balcony.

Entertainment team were fantastic especially Claudio and Julie who worked flat out to make all guests welcome.

A suggestion to improve pool area and enjoyment would be to remove water polo nets until official games played daily as it is annoying getting pelted with the ball all day long plus it takes up the whole shallow end of the pool.

Would most def recommend this hotel, food and staff are fantastic, location is perfect as minutes from beach. The best hotel we have stayed at all-inclusive.

Room Tip: higher floors will have better views

We had a great time here. Everything was great, had nothing to complain about. Food was excellent, great choices. Especially the choice of ice creams for all inclusive. Staff all friendly and helpful, especially Claude and his team, who kept us all busy with activities and games. Pool was good, also baby pool and park for chlldren. Hotel was clean and well maintain. Entertainment at nights was good. Didnt feel the need to leave this hotel as was happy to enjoy everything it offered. It is a great place for families! If you felt the need it also had a gym and sauna.

Absolutly loved this hotel! Friendly staff, fantastic food and drink. Safe for the kids aged 7 & 8 and made some great friends! Kids club was great and entertainment staff full of life and enthusiastic! Will definantly go again as the resort was perfect for families. Can not fault this hotel! :)

Room Tip: High floors have the best views, The balconies are safe for kids!

We holidayed here early June with our nine year old and our 17 month old, we were all disappointed to be leaving after one week, the weather was lovely, the hotel was clean, beds changed every day, the soft / alcoholic drinks and ice creams were good quality, the staff friendly, pools clean and spacious, the children's pool was fantastic, and there was a play park attached, which was excellent when the children wanted to get out of the heat.
The entertainers were all lovely and really friendly, but not too in your face if you wanted peace, although we found the entertainment started too late, the kids disco didnt start until 9pm which was late for our kids.

The only only concern I had was the restaurant, It opened too late in the eve for kids (7.30pm), and as a veggie I struggled a few days with selection, but overall the food was hot, fresh, with a good selection of salads, breads, pasta, rice, and freshly cooked meat, Mexican night, Chinese night, and kiddies section that always had pizza, pasta, and chips.

The resort of Es Cana was a cultured, lovely place, the locals were friendly and everything was reasonably priced. The beach was lovely, there were shops aplenty, and a fair for the kids, we also enjoyed a boat trip from the Harbor.
All hotels guests were all lovely, and we would absolutely return.

We spent like 6 days in this hotel which is in Es Canar. The hotel is cosy, very very clean, you get almost all what you need in the room. Beach is not far , and while walking to it you come along lots of nice pubs, restaurants, little shops etc. From the harbour you can easily take a boat and visit Formentera or go to some other places. The room, a suite one big enough for a couple as mentioned above got almost everything you may need. The cleaning staff was really polite, friendly always with a smile and greet everybody. Same for the reception staffs who are courteous, helpful too and speak good English.
The restaurant is like simple but nice...you get a great variety of choices, I think for all tastes.Bit hectic during meal times and it may happen that you have to wait a little while to get a fork or cups. But all the staffs are friendly , do their upmost bests to please the customers. There is always a responsible person who often checked if there are the food is ok.
As we were as a couple there without children, we didnt get involved with the animation but we could see that all children who were there had great fun, more than their parents I guess! Since there was the European Cup games, there was great ambience and we had fun. All inclusive drinks until 23.00..what do we need more to spend some good times-.If you would like to drink more and be later at a bar, there are then enough good bars with music, discos etc in the near surroundings. We were not often in the hotel restaurant for lunch as we rent a car to travel around the island which is worthwhile to be seen. However though this hotel met mostly our expectations, there are few things which according to us dont reach the 4* standard..but one should make its own experience. There is no telephone in the room, neither any description of the hotel as a brochure or information sheet. As I wanted to get an iron for our clothes, the reception lady told me friendly they dont have it, neither a place where I can find one. No tips for the excursion as well, one must find out on his own where to get what!!well in all great deal for the price indeed. I would recommend this hotel for families mostly and those who would like to relax for less money but still have a good time!

Room Tip: The rooms are according to me all good. We had view to the sea , we could watch it while sitting on...

we went to ibiza in may, the first time, thought mmm loud music n larger louts, how very wrong. we went to es cana and stayed in the atlantic apartments, very nice to say the least, on aproach it looks very up market, it is not, its a very clean, comfortable freindly hotel, the staff were very helpful and freindly, we stayed self catering, best choice as we heard a few complaints about the food, the resort is very clean, there is a supermarket just around the corner from the hotel, go down there and buy your food and bring it back and prepare it in the room, there is a basic kitchen in the apartment, but the prices in and around the resort are very good so we ate out every day. my partner is not a very good traveler, but she has said that we are definately coming back here next year, same hotel, same time, the resort has everything you need, but there is a very good bus system to get you all over the island, and its not expensive either, if you like walking, theres plenty to see as you walk in and around the town, coastal walks are beutiful, walking on the tops of the headland, you come across little oasis dotted hear n there, the beach`s are clean and you can escape into a little bit of heaven if you look in the right places. this is one holiday hotel and resort not to be missed, been once and definately will be returning.

Room Tip: try and get on the upper floors away from the annoying little man that has to place the pool furnitu...
