Just back from Hotel Atlantic in Es Cana, two adults & two kids, boy(11) & girl(6). We stayed for two weeks and we have now stayed here for the past three years. Firstly the cleanliness of this hotel stands out, our rooms were cleaned to a high standard everyday of our stay so that is always very pleasing. The standard of the food in the restaurant is pretty good, enough of a selection that you should always be able to find something you will like, both my kids were more than happy to eat here but we did venture out some nights to the great restaurants around the resort which are very good. Fernando and the rest of the staff here do a fantastic job.
Javi and the pool side bar staff too were always very attentive and helpfull and very patient with kids too, so thank you to them.
The Anamacion team were great with the kids, always trying to keep the kids amused and occupied throughout the day and evenings entertainment. Valentina does a great job here and his very lucky to have two willing members on her team, Max & Marta, my young daughter has missed Marta very much since we came home.
All in all a great holiday destination for families, keep up the good work all at Azuline Atlantic but a special thanks to Javi, Fernando, Max & Marta we had a great time and hope to be back.

Booked through Jet2 and stayed for 2 weeks all inclusive with wife and 2 kids (3½ & 15) from 18th June.

Hotel - Extremely clean, lovely reception staff as on arrival they told us not to book in straight away and to go and get something to eat which saved a huge queue and waiting as people then went to check in spread out so no hanging about.

Food and Drink - Only went all inclusive as thought if nothing else it would be worth it for the breakfasts and snackbar but used it for most lunches and evening meals, always something to eat and the food was warm enough if eating early in service or late, plenty of variety and the kitchen staff are continually checking the temperature of warm food and not letting it sit for hours. Went with a picky toddler and teenager but there was always something for them to eat only criticism is if going for 14 nights it can get a bit repetitive but there are plenty of cheap places to eat in Es Cana or just down the road in Santa Eulalia if you fancy a change.

All inclusive beer is San Miguel and there is also Cava, the wine isn't the best IMO but is drinkable, snackbar hotdogs and cheese and ham toasties and cornetto's fed the kids for snacks throughout the day.

Rooms - stayed in a 2 bed apartment (405) which was great as the 15 y/o daughter had a room to herself and the 3½ year old slept on the (extremely comfy) sofa bed, Nice view of sea but only got the morning sun and PA system from hotel next door was loud but went off at 23:30 every night and didn't cause a problem with sleeping for toddler, main bedroom had ensuite with bath and there was a shower-room and toilet too.
Maid service every day and room kept spotless like the rest of the hotel. There is a TV in the room that has BBC and Sky news but doesn't have a USB slot so you can't plug a hard drive in to play any films you may have taken across.

Pool and Entertainment - kids pool is shallow and great for toddlers to splash about in with a mini club attached ran by the lovely Valentina who along with Max and Marta would keep the kids amused throughout the day and night with games and treasure hunts and huge water fights. On and evening there was a great mini disco and games for the kids before the adults entertainment. Sometimes this was ran by Valentina or they would get external groups in, was a bit hit and miss but generally the kids enjoyed it and in the participation games from hotel guests could be a great laugh.

Adults pool is deep, but if you take a toddler swimming life jacket the little kids will love it big enough and more than enough sun loungers.

Things to Do

There is a small fair opposite the hotel which we used before the mini disco
Feed the fish down by the harbour on an evening
Nice beach which is shallow so good for paddling in for small kids
Boat trip to Ibiza Town is great, takes 1.5 hours to get there and back and with a few hours spent in town is a great way to spend a day.
Santa Eulalia is a couple of Euro on the bus and is worth a visit

Avoid / Negatives

There is an afternoon train type thing, in the morning it does the beaches which I can't comment on but the afternoon trip around farms and villages is rubbish unless you like diesel fumes, takes 3 hours but could be done in 1.

Room Tip: anything on the 4th floor and above should get a decent view of something

Stayed at the Azuline Atlantic 21st -28th June. Es Cana has something for everyone, pubs restaurants, rides for the kids etc etc. Check out the Jacaranda lounge for complete relaxation (great views & music and kids are allowed at anytime of the day/night). Communal areas of the hotel are well kept & very very clean, we stayed in a one bedroom apartment, bathroom appeared to be recently re-fitted & was a good standard but the rest of the apartment was no way a 4 star! Only a 3 star+ in my opinion. Our view from the balcony looked on to the street/ back of a pub so was noisy but ok if door was shut. You could just about see sea from the third floor - but lower floors on that side of the hotel would have a totally rubbish view. Air con in the room was a god send, the weather was absolutely boiling when we were there.
I'm a clean freak and didn't have any issues with the cleanliness of the hotel whatsoever.
There was always a good choice of food which was well cooked and tasty.
All of the hotel staff worked hard and were friendly & approachable. Our little girl had a tummy bug when we were there and Caron (English girl who works on restaurant/reception) was very helpful. The entertainment staff are great and try hard to include everyone but also leave you alone if you want to relax.
The pool area is a bit pants (clean & tidy) but not a lot of space and no view of anything other than the back of a horrible building! The main pool is very deep for children/none swimmers and the kids splash pool (upstairs from main pool) is too shallow for older children. Please keep a close eye on your kids around the main pool as there is not a lifeguard on site. The entertainment is situated by the main pool (closest to the deep end) on an evening and the kids mini disco encourages them to walk/run around the pool. I personally think this is an accident waiting to happen.
Overall we had a good holiday and it was excellent for money, however I don't think we would stay at this hotel again if we returned to Es Cana. We would book a hotel with better views of
the sea/ a 'real' 4 star hotel!!

Just arived back as a family of five with two teens and a four year old. This was our first time as all inclusive so we were a little apprehensive as we like to try different restaurants. This actually worked in our favour though with a fussy four year old who could pick at small meals and go back and fore is she was still hungry. Also with a son just of the legal age for drinking alcolhol I am sure this saved a small fortune! The food overall was nice, as somebody has previously mentioned the eggs were undercooked but this was not the end of the world. A good variety was on offer and somebody was always on hand to replenish anything that was running low. We stayed in a two bed apartment and were pleasantly surprised to discover two bathrooms on arrival. The view was nice overlooking mountains and if you turned to the side the sea though if we were on a lower floor this would not have been so good as it would have been the back of some bars/shops. Hotel next door a bit noisy but with the doors and windows closed not a problem. Air conditioning a godsend in the nights with lovely cool air. Our youngest asolutely loved the entertainment and has come home knowing all the dance moves from the mini disco. The team were very attentive to her and the other children, she was especially struck by Marta and we were impressed by Valentina's enthusiasm and organisation. Reception staff were very helpful with Antonio especially making us feel very welcome. Location was perfect very close to the beach which was very nice. We actually preferred Santa Eulalia's beach which is only a short bus ride away for 1.55 euro, though we were charged twice without us realising for our youngest and under fives are actually free. We would stay at the Atlantic again. Thank you to the staff.

Just arrived back back from this hotel last night 26/06/14. Our close friends have been going with their extended family for 3 years. I was personally concerned by some of the reviews on here but I had the knowledge of family who had visited previously.

Reception staff very friendly on check-in and throughout our 8 day holiday.
Restaurant staff also very friendly and accommodating. I will briefly touch on the food, yes on occasion there was food that I did personally not like, however there was always at least 3 choices. The food was never cold and it was acceptable to eat and I mostly enjoyed it. The breakfasts was really good with nice sausages and on occasion back bacon!
Animation team - credit to the Atlantic hotel, I genuinely mean these staff work very hard and made my holiday fun.

Snack bar great snacks throughout the day

Bar staff - patients of saints. Great people who were always willing to help.

Hotel, location is great 5 min walk to beach. The hotel is to a high standard, our room 505 was great 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

Overall a great holiday - likely we will go back.

Not forgetting reservations who I booked with directly and kept me informed.

Just one thing - sort out your wifi!!

Thanks to all the team for a great holiday the Vernon's.

Room Tip: 5th floor pool side
