We boarded the train at Es Canar sea front. There is a board there showing the details of the tours, one in the morning leaves at 10.30am which visits mainly beaches. We had a free afternoon and hopped on the afternoon tour at 3.30am. Didn't know what to expect but it was the best 16 euros i spent all hols! The little train took us up the little lanes into the countryside , past olives, carob trees, fruit trees and houses we would never have seen otherwise, the guide (Bill) was very charismatic and knowledgeable. We visited a beautiful 17th Century farmhouse...there was some liqueur there but I missed it as too busy taking photos! also went to an old church. You only get a short time at each place but its just enough time to get a quick taster of another side of Ibiza without losing too much time out of your hols if you only have a week. I imagine it maybe good with kids as they enjoy the train and they don't have long enough to get bored in the cultural bits. my hubbie and I loved it! Pick up some drinks and snacks at the shops, slap on some sun cream and you're all set! toot toot!
