“Picture Postcard Perfect & Fantastic Swimming Beach!”
Reviewed 25 January 2014

Playa Sucia is an incredible place to relax on the soft sand, swim in the crystal clear blue water, and explore the bluffs on either side of the crescent shaped beach! We arrived before 10 a.m. each morning, and parked close to the beach entrance. The beach doesn't get busy until the afternoon. The dirt road to the beach is full of potholes, and fill up with water after the rains. However, our Ford Focus rental car (front wheel drive) was fine... just take it slow and try to avoid the largest potholes where possible. I recommend Playa Sucia for all age groups, couples, families, and singles. Please note that there are no bathrooms, vending machines, or other public facilities to use. Bring your own drinking water, food, lotion, chairs, and umbrella if you choose to stay for a long period of time.

“Great!”

A little hard to find but worth it! Beautiful beach and sand and a little waves to play in. NO snorkeling.

“Went on a whim”
Reviewed 19 January 2014 via mobile

It was a very long drive from Isla Verde but soo worth it. Crystal blue waters. Nice clean beach and patrolled by the local cops. Bring food drinks water and lots of sunscreen as the sun shines over this beach like no other. We got there early on a Saturday and it was mostly families there . Bring water sandals as its a wee touch rocky in the water but nothing that's too crazy. Bring sneakers also as there is small trail ghat brings you up to a cute light house with amazing views.
Those vacationing in PR this is a perfect day trip. Spend a little money an a cooler and a disposable grill and make a day out of it. My daughter and I loved it there and will return again.

“Great spot to enjoy the blue in its different tones”
Reviewed 17 January 2014

We loved this beach! The waves are just perfect, they have this nice rhythm so that you can enjoy them as much as possible. The hikes to the rocky hills are the best...you can see the immensity of the ocean, different tones of blues, beautiful cliffs, just great. Bring good shoes to go to these hills because sandals are not very comfortable. The day that we went there was a lot of wind, so look for a spot to put your stuff (towels, food, chairs) at the end of the beach...the wind is not that strong there. Bring food since there are no restaurants or stores nearby.

“Amazing waters - felt like a Caribbean Island”
Reviewed 15 January 2014

Had a lovely time with family on white sands and turquoise waters. It is a secret jewel!

Heard reports of the parking lot not been safe but I felt safe and the area was seemingly protected.
