We went to Cabo Rojo and decided to stop for lunch at the very convenient Agua al Cuello which is at the Bahia Salinas Beach Resort on the road back from the lighthouse. The service was incredibly slow and not very responsive, the coke we ordered never showed up until after we saw it was on the bill and requested it again. It took an hour for out entrees to show up, however, the food was fantastic and almost made up for the service. Myself and another in our party were vegetarian and we were very impressed that there was a separate vegetarian menu. We ordered the salad, which was a little soggy (dressing not in the side) but ok, and then we got our main entrées: mofongo with vegetables and a hummus wrap for the vegetarians and bacon wrapped chicken for the other two at the table. The mofongo (mashed plantains) with vegetables we incredible! The sauce was very creamy and unlike anything I have ever had, everyone tried it and loved it! The hummus wrap was also very good and similar to other hummus wraps, except that the hummus was warm when served. The meat eaters very much enjoyed their bacon chicken meal as well! Overall the food was great and the service terrible, so if you go be patient and ready to wait a while!

We had breakfast,lunch and dinner.
The place is spectacular!! the food is AMAZING!!
It also has vegetarian options!!
highly recommended if you want to taste great puerto rican food.
A+!!!
If you're staying in the hotel they have good dinner-breakfast packages!! it is totally affordable and much better than going out (wasting gas) and getting to the next place to eat it's around 15min away so totally recommendable to eat at the restaurant which is great.

We had breakfast and dinner the two days of our stay. Food was very good and attentive personnel. On Saturday night the host also sings!! It added a very nice touch to our dinning experience!!

I had lunch here with my wife and aunt. The service was slow (we waited over an hour for our entrees) however my whole snapper was excellent, my aunt's chef's salad was loaded with good ingredients and supplemented her dinner that night and my wife enjoyed her eggplant parmesan.
The view was excellent and it was a positive experience since we were not in a hurry.

Worst dinner ever!! Waiter had no clue, seems clueless about service, any specials. Took order and disappear. Food took a long time, I never thought a puertorrican restaurant can screw up "mofongo " yet the did. Families sitting next to us, were allowed to use cell phones to watch videos, so loud. No waiters made an attempt to discourage this behavior. Absolutely the worst experience. Expensive, dirty & dingy. Not worth the driving.
