Stayed for week with a friend at the apartments and had a great time. Very clean and well kept. Excellent for the star rating...deserves more. Room cleaned daily and loo roll replenished when needed, always handy.
Staff very friendly and accommodating should you need anything although their English is poor but we managed with a few hand gestures and facial movements! Highly recommended
The short walk to the beach was enjoyable passing many bars/restaurants/shops along the way.
The area was buzzing at night, but not too noisy, plenty of authentic greek restaurants and wonderful cuisine
.

Room Tip: We had a pool view which is always nice.... don't know what other rooms were like.

I found that the staff were friendly towards those of us that were friendly to them.
my room was clean, comfortable and had all that my daughter and i needed. My big issue was having to stay up all night on cockroach watch... The rep assured me that this was the first time there had been a problem with them.
the pool was clean and pleasant, the food was lovely and a decent price.
if you turn right coming out of the hotel and walk about 5 min you'll find a large supermarket with lots of choice at great prices. You'll also come across Sagittarius restaurant. Give this a go - the food is lovely and the prices are great. You'll be glad you did.
The trip to Zia is worth it. We went to fantasia with thomas cook. Beautiful scenery, lovely food and a lot of fun.
Kos town is easily accessed by bus and its a wonderful town no matter what you like to get up to.we spent a day exploring the town and I'd love to go back. As for the hotel.... I think i would consider going again if I could get a room high up

Just returned from 10 days at Kalloudis hotel(appartments) and can honestly say that Kalloudis is nearly everything you could want or need in an apartment ,everything is clean and well kept ,cleaner changes the towels every 2 days ,kitchenette is basic with just an oven ,kettle fridge-freezer and basic utensils but is adequate .the owners are friendly enough although there is not an awful lot of activity in the bar (my advice would be to offer free Wifi in the bar area and maybe more people would stop and have a drink while checking there mails and such )
Location is ideal 500 meters from the beach ,40 meters from a truly lovely greek restaurant (Hercules taverna )-say hello to Elsa for me ,60 meters from the rendezvous bar where you can watch live sport all evening on sky ,there are enough restaurants and bars to cater for all tastes
the hotel pool facility is clean and well kept with a largish pool + kids pool and plenty of sunloungers to go round. the only downside is the shower it is only just adequate and like most greek hotels it is a toss of the coin whether you have hot water (shower in the afternoon and not later when everybody is having a shower ) there are enough supermarkets for your needs within 150 meters and the bus stop for Kos town is right in front of the hotel (2 euros single trip)all in all a thouroughly enjoyable experience and recommended to all We will go back next year !!!!
I really cant understand the negativity as you get what you pay for and it is definitely value for money

Room Tip: choose a room on the south side facing the pool and on the first floor to watch truly stunning sundo...

Hotel dirty, linen is gray, ants and bugs in the rooms. The owner and his daughter is horrible. Yelling at staff and a little less at tourists. Shout to representatives of travel agencies. Only for people with strong nerves. The pool closes at 6 pm. Not worth it, in addition to many other hotels. Hotel would have great potential but lacks a good host and staff. Tigaki itself has a great beach, but it is very small - one street 500 meters to walk.

Just returned from a weeks stay at The Kalloudis apartments and wanted to share our experience of a fabulous holiday. Adonis and family could not do enough to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. We stayed in room 321 which we appreciated having asked for a quieter room although the hotel in general was very peaceful.

Just a couple of minutes walk from the shops bars and restaurants and 10 minutes walk to the beach - very comfortable sunloungers at a extremely reasonable cost of only 3 euros per day - the Kalloudis is ideally situated.

We would return in a minute and it was lovely to see several parties arriving, for what were obviously regular return trips, whilst we were waiting in reception for the coach taking us to the airport.

Restaurants and bars are plentiful but cannot recommend highly enough the restaurant Meni situated at the bottom of the strip near the roundabout and especially the lovely Sia. Food is excellent and very reasonabley priced not to mention the free ouzo/brandy/ schnapps at the end of your meal....

This is a great place to stay. Clean and close to everything in the resort. The rooms are a good size and well equipt by self catering standards in any country you could visit. The pool area and snack bar get 10 out of 10 as does the bar in the reception. Everything to do with the hotel, in my opinion, is faultless. We had no problems at all, we stayed 8th-15th August this year. Meet some lovely people there and can not reccomend the hotel, resort and the island of Kos highly enough. I am well travelled through work and on holidays and have paid much more for much less. Not sure what some people expect for what is a budget holiday at the end of the day. On to the owner, yes owner not manager, and his family(wife and two daughters) who all work around the clock to keep the hotel running. Adonis and his fantastic family do everything in there power to make you welcome and maybe his English is not Oxbridge standard but how many of us know small hotel owners in the uk who are fluent in Greek or 2 or 3 other languages? Top tip to those who say he is rude because he did not talk to you, did you talk to him? Because during my week i saw enough of the guests who just ignored him and his family as they passed through the hotel grabbing their key and not even making eye contact let alone uttering a word in any language. It's not hard to pick up 1 or 2 words of a foreign languge and remember you are the foreigner in Greece. Rant ended now myself and my partner can not wait to visit this great little family run hotel again next year. Maybe the moaners should try the Savoy or Butlins next year and learn you get out of life what you put into it!

Room Tip: request a room on a higher floor, maybe with a pool view.

Just arrived back from Kalloudis have to agree with all positive reviews. These apartments are a great place to stay and in a great location not far from the restaurants and bars. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Cooking facilities basic but who goes on holiday to cook? Stayed in room 201 which was on the ground floor. It didn't have a pool view but looked onto the hills and there was a little allotment that housed hens with their chicks and a cockerel that was entertaining to watch them scraping around for food. The cockerel did crow at odd times of the day and night but didn't interfere with our sleep. Air condition was for hire at a good price and also safe deposit boxes. The pool area was clean and the main pool was large with a kids pool next to it. Sun beds were plenty and the cafe bar served breakfast and snacks which were reasonably priced. The owners were lovely and very friendly and their two daughters spoke perfect English. The whole family were always helpful and could not do enough for you to make sure you had a lovely holiday. I would definitely have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and we hope to visit again in the future. The resort is the best location on the island, with lovely restaurants try the Meni and Scala these were our favourites and staff were very friendly and meals reasonably priced. Tigaki has a lovely sandy beach that is safe for kids and sun beds were reasonably priced. Kos Town is only a short bus ride away and has a lovely harbour and nice shops. My only negative comment is there were a couple of cafes who purposely tried to short change us and the cafe across the from the Meni tried it 3 times. So please check your change if you visit this cafe in particular.
