Went to the Kalloudis hotel the end of May this year. The rooms were big and kept spotlessly clean. I stayed in room 317, and the rooms in this part of the hotel appeared to be brand new and modern looking..The gardens were kept in great condition, as befits the gardens of a man who was a farmer. I didn't realise they did full English breakfasts in the poolside Cafe untill the last day of my stay and it was great. The owner Adonis and his wife are lovely and very friendly people. Their English isn't great so that might give some people the false impression that they don't want to talk, but if you make the effort to communicate with them you will find very friendly and great people. Their daughters are lovely and friendly people too, so if you want to know anything ask them. Vicky their daughter's English is excellent so don't be afraid to ask her anything.
If you go in May or June be aware that because of the large salt lake (Allikes) that is about a mile from the resort there may be a mosquito problem so take insect repellent and a plug in mosquito repellent for your room in the night. The resort has a very good long sandy beach, and the sea stays shallow for quite a distance making it ideal for children. All in all a great resort especially for families with children. Kos town is only about 15 minutes away by bus, and is full of lovely squares to eat and drink in, and is definitely worth a visit!
