We loved the pretty beach, plenty of beds & umbrellas, crystal clear water, cafe close by will bring drinks to the beach & beach donuts are well worth the cost too!

We have visited the beach at Tingaki on many, many occasions during our holidays in Tingaki.
The beach is sandy, clean and safe for children.
The only drawback are the many people going up and down the beach offering massages. They are actually very good, but if you don't want one then a polite 'no thanks' will suffice.
Most of the beach hotels and restaurants along the beach road have their own section of beach and the charge for two beds and an umbrella is usually 5 euros per day.

Supermarket near beach sell fruit and cheap drinks. Restaurants at top of beach more expensive than other parts of town but good to go to get out of the sun for a while.

We hired two sunbeds and a parasol from Lena at the quieter end of the beach away from the centre of the town (red and cream mattresses). There was a changing room and shower available. Sandy beach is raked and cleaned by her or her husband each morning. Water is clean and very shallow. More seaweed about when the breeze picks up, but only near the water's edge. Breeze tends to pick up in the afternoon. Also stayed at King Size where you get the sunbed free if you buy something from the bar.

Nice long stretch of sand with sunbeds a plenty, the water is fairly shallow at the waters edge so good for having a paddle, there are bars close by for those drinks or snacks.
