A nine course menu accompanied by 6 wines(one of the wines on the meny had been changed for unknown reason).
The dishes individuelly are very good but togerher it gets very confusing tastewise and overall it is too much and a bit of a mess.
After 7 courses you are presented with tenderloin of beef with sauce bearnaise - it is too much.
It seems like more effort is put in to finding interesting ways of presenting the dishes than the composition/balance between them.
With the fairly high prices charges i don’t believe it is good value for money any more.

This is a hard review to write because on the one hand I could give it 4-5 stars and on the other hand 1-2.

So let's start with the positive: Each dish in itself is very good. At the single dish level this restaurant can stand it's ground against most 1 star establishments. But...

And then the negative: The menu simply makes no sense. The sequence of the dishes and the way the flavour of them interacts doesn't work. It is a strange journey through new nordic dishes, over Asien to British, to... Simply not thought through. And the wine pairings missed their mark as well. According to the hostess the wine pairing had been changed because of a new wine, but that is no excuse. Then you either find a new wine that actually works with the dishes or you change the menu. In this case it would have been enough to swith the menu around a bit and then it would have worked.

Would we come back? Hmmm... Maybe. Cleraly this young chef from Norway has talent and if he evolves the menu to tell a stroy that makes sense to the palet then yes I would come back. But if he stays with the same set menu then no.

Excelent service and culinary delights of top world class. Do not miss the opportunity to vissit this restaurant and the very special consept. Order a table in due time, arrive 8 pm and just enjoy the 9 super dishes and the selected vine package together with you friends. The memory of this evening will be stored for a long time and we will be back next time we visit Mogan.

This restaurant seems to focus more on theatre than on food.
Some of the dishes from the 9 course menu were very nice, some average and the goats cheese - well all 4 of us thought it was unpleasant.
We arrived at 8pm and didn't leave until 11.20pm. Service is exceptionally slow, due to the fact all diners are served at the same time as the only option is the set menu.
This restaurant does not have a wine menu. When we asked for one, we were told that the menu had been prepared to be accompanied by their wine selection at 49 euros per head. The waiter was quite pushy in trying to persuade us to have the set wine selection. We did, however, manage to get a bottle of wine, but one the waiter chose not us.
Overall at 69 euros per head plus wine and champagne at 12 euros per glass, we didn't really feel it was good value for money.
