The rooms are spacious with large bathrooms and all the required facilities - t.v., fridge, safety deposit box, phone etc. Each has a balcony or patio and is connected to other rooms in the form of a block looking on to a courtyard with plants, trees and water features.
The gardens and swimming pools are the best I have seen! (No problem getting a sunbed). There is a spa, a gym and even an archaeaology site.
The meals are buffet, but what a buffet - fresh fish and meat prepared to your personal taste while you wait and a wide selection of other dishes, salads, deserts, fruit, cheeses etc. The drinks at dinner are waiter-served and are at 'hotel' prices.

We have just returned from a 9 night holiday in this superb hotel. We have only two very small "niggles" (1) when we arrived at 3.45 in the afternoon we had to wait 35 minutes for our room to be ready, and (2)surprisingly in a large hotel there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Apart from that we could not fault it. the staff are all friendly and speak excellent English. The food in the buffet style restaurant was very good, two separate sittings can have disadvantages (you are committed to the time you eat in the evening) but the advantages outweighed that - you always had the same table and same waiters, did not have to queue to wait for a table and one night when they were unable to find the half bottle of wine left from the previous night we were given a new bottle which was slightly more expensive than the missing one!
There are two excellent large pools with plenty of sun-beds and although you are encouraged not to reserve the beds (guess which nationality still did!) there was never a problem in finding one roughly where you wanted and the mattresses were thicker than we had ever seen before and extremely comfortable.
We were looking for a quiet peaceful holiday and that is exactl what we had and thoroughly enjoyed it.

This is a well positioned hotel in a good location. Probably suited to people who want a quietish hotel with a good location. No highrises in Puerto Mogan and the hotel is an easy strollfrom the marina where ferries and boat trips abound. The staff are very friendly and the food is good quality. Evening entertainment is included,.

Now stayed here 3 consecutive years. Last stayed Aug 2008 to celebrate our 40th anniversary, treating our entire family (14 including children). No effort spared to ensure a perfect holiday (including baking an anniversary cake!). Rooms are beautifully maintained with every desirable facility. Food consistently excellent and plentiful, staff friendly and anxious to please. Every facility to entertain children of all ages. The harbour a delightful location for an after dinner stroll and coffee. 7 months on the whole family are still talking about the wonderful holiday. WE can't think of any resort or hotel in the world where we would rather enjoy a holiday in the sun
