Area and people are nice. All shops provided the samples for tasting before you are buying their meats or anything. Next to this area had many restaurants and ice cream/beverage stop so you can have your lunch there as well.

Rather than fooling around in casino / mall, drifting inside this small neighborhood mimics a time travel of Macau.
Though in these few years more traditional shops replaced by food outlets (all claim themselves specialised in Portagal cuisine / Macau snacks ) but u can still find some old fashioned ones.
The temples inside also worth seeing.

This area of Macau is a thriving neighbourhood full of restaurants, pastry shops, gift outlets, boutiques and other establishments. Makes for a pleasant stroll once you arrive. Explore the side streets to discover new sights. We ate at the Chiangrai Restaurant run by a middle-aged Thai woman and her Thai crew. Lovely and authentic Thai cuisine - no wonder it was crowded! Will go back!

This part of the former Portuguese colony is an embodiment of new and old worlds coexisting in their bare forms - few century-old temples and colonial buildings with sparkling new casinos in the backdrop. You will enjoy strolling around this area.
