Yes, it is a nice place, but not one that will auger 5 stars.
We went during the Lunar New Year, so there are many decorations all around for phototaking.
Overall, a nice part, and walkable to Venetian Casino.
But other than that, it is a average place.

Taipa is usually a bustling village with thousands of tourists exploring its narrow alleys and nibbling their way through street food (Rua do Cunha) from dawn to dusk each day.

Sadly, that is not the case at present, as the Coronavirus Outbreak has pretty much shut down Taipa Village like it has most places around Macau at the moment. Visited recently just after noon, most businesses are closed and there are only a handful of other people.

Besides being much easier to take unobstructed photos of the village, something that has been rather challenging over the past 10 years, there is little reason to visit Taipa Village at this time. Hopefully, the virus scare will pass so we can see Taipa alive again soon.

Location is very good just opposite of Galaxy. Many restaurants and shops there. Selection of local eateries such as snacks, irresistible cakes and pastries, and light bites. Famous Lord Stow’s egg tart is also here. Lighting shows in night time. If you want a break of GRAND things in big casinos, come strolling in Taipa Village to feel good old charm.
