The hotel is well known and is easy to find, any taxi can take there, either you come by airplane or through ferry. There are also shuttle from other hotel is free of charge if you just query you will be driven to the hotel. The location is great, surrounded with all the great and reputed hotels and casinos. Services are out of this world, very good and professionals, the room is just splendid and very huge, bath room is more than expected, there are steam bath, jacuzzi and electronic shower. I mean that you just set everything start to happen. My experience was just like in the James Bond movie. Opposite the hotel is the famous Grand Lisboa hotel and Casino. The hotel offers a various types of restaurants and has it own casino as well. There are travels agencies, tours and other entertaining services in the hotel building. The hotel has a bakery with all the variety of cakes and snacks. The lifts is made of glasses so you can see through and it is build in the front corner of the hotel so you can always have a nice view of the town or of the Grand Lisboa Hotel whenever you use it. The rate are quiet expensive but worthy

Room Tip: Just book earlier or choose a business room

We booked a room here when traveling to Macau. The entrance where we were dropped off, from the bus, misleaded us, because it was like a maze to get to the reception of the hotel. The room was really big, there was a sleeping room and a living room. The rooms were both bigger than normal 4-star hotels (this hotel was a former 5-star hotel). The bathroom had a jacuzzi, which really was neat. The hotel was right near the centre of Macau, so everything was on walking distance. We didn't get two pairs of slippers, so we ordered those and got them right away. It is a great hotel for a great price.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with two beds :)

This hotel is right next to the old town in macau.

Unfortunately the world has moved past the hotel. I am sure in it's day it was spectacular, but it's day has gone. The hotel is glitzy and large.

The booking in process went well. The transfer from the ferry terminal was good. We asked for a non smoking room but got a smoking room, which smelt disgusting. We were told we had been upgraded, but it seemed like a standard room.

The room was firmly set in the 1980's.

At night the ground floor of the hotel was awash with working girls doing laps of the corridors looking for customers.

The staff were professional and very helpful.

Pay the extra and stay at one of the newer casino hotels.

Room Tip: Ask for a room high up in the tower with harbour views

Hotel Lisboa is located in the heart of the Macau and is surrounded by other reputed hotels, casinos and saunas. Wynn (with its musical fountains) is across the road and MGM is just a short walk away. If you stay at this hotel, you won't get lost in Macau as it is next to Grand Lisboa whose Lotus shaped display is visible from almost anywhere. Getting lost inside the hotel is another matter since it is a huge hotel (although not by Macau standards) and occupies an entire block, has several entrances and wings.

The hotel is old but well-maintained. So if you are looking for the latest decor, this is not the place to be. It is more for those who love the classical touch complete with liveried bell-boys, and door men dressed in the old style.

Staff is courteous and helpful, facilities are excellent and if you don't want to go out - the hotel has all the facilities including a casino, sauna etc.

All in all a good hotel if you like the classical touch.

Room Tip: Rooms in the East Wing are cheaper and closer to the action.

We went for honeymoon with my wife. Room is great as well as facilities but a bit evident that it was already old.

A lot of chinese women for hire. Location is great also. Will definitely go back but please dont place us in a window that we can only see aircon unit..

The Hotel gives a king type experience. Interior, Bathroom, Lobby everything is made with lots of precision and beautifully made. Best part is the location. Wynn & Grand Lisboa & Star Casino as just next to it. Venetian & Hard Rock Hotel & City of Dreams is just in another location. Taxi will take you there in 50HKD.

Free mini bar in the rooms but strangely not in the casino. In terms of Casino, Wynn is by far the best among all. Good Hotel with great rooms.

Stayed in this hotel for a night. Initially there was some confusion on one of the rooms during checkin but was resolved in 30 minutes.

We got upgraded and stayed on the 20th floor (highest). Room was lovely (European style) and we had the whole mini FOC. Everything in the room is classy including a computerise shower system.

Service level was excellent and I must say, the staff was very polite and helpful.

The hotel surrounding was bright even at midnight and early morning. Safe. Walking distance to most surrounding hotels and casino. About 20 minutes walk to the major attraction I.e. the walking street.

Overall i would recommend the hotel.

Cheers,

ManfromSingapore
