“Good Location -- Old-Fashioned elegance”

The Lisboa is within walking distance of the historic district, many fine restaurants, and a variety of casinos. The decor is quite dated in style, but well kept and impressive, to me at least. Room was well furnished and quiet. The top-floor view of the water and bridges was inspiring. The hotel is also a very good value. I would not happily return.

We stayed here for 2 night. The room was clean and big with complete amenities. We enjoyed a conformable bed and massage at bathtub after a tired day. Wi-fi and minibar are available for free, Check-in and check out process was fast. There is bus stop in front of Hotel and within walking distance to Senado Square. We can easily to find a Restaurant , Convinience Store and Road stall. Definately worth to stay.

I have been here thrice since 2012 and I must say that this hotel is a very good choice if you want to stay in the heart of Macau. The location is close to Senado Square and other hotel. Although built in the 1970s, the facade, the lobby and the rooms are classic. Wifi and mini bar are free. Check in and out was fast and the hotel deposit is just 500mop/hkd. Overall, it was affordable and we had a great stay. We'll be back definitely.

Great central location, nice pleasant large room well equipped. Good tv channel coverage though perhaps best not to let the kids explore some of the free channels if they find the access code!!

Bit of a maze to find reception initially but hotel personnel very helpful. Non-pretentious, decent quality hotel ideally suited to exporing Macau. Minutes from the main attractions and ferry terminal from Hong Kong and easy by cab across the the Strip where the big casinos are across the bridges.

The hotel also has a fascinating added feature on the ground floor which for people who like people watching is endlessly entertaining - a parade of many many young often buxom Chinese women dressed in gaudy revealing clothes who walk through the ground floor corridors and then at a certain point spin 180 degrees and walk back in the opposite direction.

I'm guessing they are engaged in window shopping or some such similar activity!! the phenomena is featured on YouTube apparently!!

Does it detract from the hotel - no - rather honest compared to the situation one sees in upmarket hotels in other parts of the world. Perhaps not an ideal choice of hotel for curious children but otherwise recommended.

The rooms in Hotel Lisboa have the old, renaissance feel coupled with modern amenities. My family and I stayed at a Lisboa Tower Superior room which was quite spacious. It could easily fit 4 people inside. The bed was extremely comfortable and the amenities were generous. Besides the usual toiletries, guests may also take home an umbrella, and Lisboa pens. But only 2 pens could be taken away since after the second night, the hotel no longer replenished the pens we got. A notable treat were the complimentary beverages in the fridge. During our stay, the mini-bar had various sodas and beer, a bottle of Perrier, blackcurrant juice, and tomato juice. Of course, the regular 2 bottles of water were also complimentary. You can confirm with the bell boy once you arrive at your room which items are complimentary and could be taken away.

Service was also pleasant. We had no trouble checking-in and -out since majority of the staff we talked to spoke adequate English. The hotel provides free shuttle service to various points of interest, like the Macau Ferry Terminal, although the drop-off points were not as extensive as other hotels. For example, they had no free shuttle service to the airport. An option would be to take the free shuttle bus at the nearby Wynn Hotel.

The location was right smack in the middle of touristy spots in Macau. Besides being near major hotel and casinos, the hotel is walking distance to Senado Square. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Macau and would not mind staying here again in the future.

The Lisboa is probably one of the original Macau hotels. It has the glitter you would expect in the 20's. Well maintained and the service is impeccable. Great location right near the Wynn, Starworld, and Grand Lisboa. The casino is small and has no craps tables which is an issue for me, but craps is not that popular so you can't hold it against the hotel.
The breakfast restaurant is very good, rooms are small but comfy and the staff is amongst the best I've ever seen.

Room Tip: Big hotel!

Visited Macau for the very first time and stayed 2 nights at the Hotel Lisboa. This is the older hotel adjacent to the newer Grand Lisboa.
The room rate was among the cheapest for a well know 4 star hotel in Macau, yet is centrally located and very convenient.
The figure 8 layout of the hotel is a bit confusing at first. The check in was a bit slower than expected, but after that, I was so pleasantly surprised at the quality of the facility and especially the guestroom. The room smelled clean and fresh, linens and flooring were immaculate, bathroom had all the essentials, and the décor was just fabulous. It even had a Jacuzzi tub in a standard room! In any other hotel, this room would have been an upgrade. The size of the room was larger than expected. I was also not able to hear any noise outside my room since there was an entry vestibule and hall that separated the sleeping area. There was no evidence of cigarette smoke in the room nor in the outside corridor on my floor (10th) despite it being a smoking room. I had a great time eating at the nearby restaurants and gambling at this casino and at other hotel casinos nearby all within walking distance such as the Wynn. Due to the central location, I did not need to catch a taxi or bus, except for the free hotel shuttle bus from the ferry terminal to this hotel. I will definitely stay again when I visit Macau!

Room Tip: Seem that there are very few non-smoking rooms. I chose a smoking room since there is more availabi...
