Great location! Walking distance to the top tourist areas like Senado Square. Walking distance to the shuttle pick-up point for the Venetian, so easy trip to the casinos in the Cotai strip. Local food establishments nearby. A Koi Kei Bakery shop at the corner so you can buy at your leisure (no need to deal with the crowds at the other shops). I felt like we were right in the middle of local color ... loved it!

The hotel itself was good. Room (and bathroom) was basic but clean, well maintained, and more than suitable for our needs. Hotel staff were very helpful.

Overall it was an amazing experience. The location is awesome as the hotel is surrounded by many local food delights in which some are open till midnight, close to major attractions such as Da San Ba and etc., near to Sofitel Macau @ Ponte 16 which has a casino, 5-10 mins walk to bus stop and shuttle bus to The Venetian. Setbacks are such that rooms do not have much hanging spots for clothing while only 3 hangers provided, no nice view as window is facing a small alley. Nevertheless, it is a highly recommended value for money hotel.

The rooms are small but big enough, great air conditioning, strong wifi , close to senado square and ruins of st Paul, 80 patakas in taxi from airport = 11 usd, cable tv with three English channels, great hot water , free bottled water each day, didn't try the breakfast, in room safe
Overall cheap clean good amenities and perfect location would come back again

It's location is unbeatable - it is located a stone's throw away from Senado Square. Souvenir shops at your doorstep! Rooms were clean and well equipped. Staff was helpful as well.

Overall, excellent value for money!

The hotel location is great. It is close to numerous local restaurants and a few of the famous Koi Kei Bakeries. Major bus stops are also just a short 5-minute walk. St. Paul's Ruins and Senado Square are also just a 10-minute walk.
The hotel is new so it's still clean and modern. Took a taxi from the airport and showed the cab driver the name and address in Chinese and he had no problem finding it. The cost was about US$10. Check-in isn't till 2pm but arrived at 11am and checked to see if room was ready. Stood at the front desk for about 30 seconds while the two girls were talking to each other and doing something. Finally when one of the girls acknowledged me, they didn't say "hello" or "welcome" but "check-in isn't until 2pm." Not very nice. I understand the room wasn't ready, but you could at least say "hello."
When I checked out the other girl was working and again no "hello" or "how was your stay?" Just took back the keys and that was it. Being a former front desk manager for a hotel in Waikiki, I take hospitality a little more seriously than others. Other than that the hotel was great. Small, but it was just me so no problem.
I was on the 3rd floor and the free wifi worked great in my room. The flat-screen TV mounted on the wall was a bit high so hard to see while sitting in bed, but not many English options so didn't really use.
Major casinos such as the Wynn, Grand Lisboa and MGM are just a 20-minute walk. The Venetian and City of Dreams are not within walking distance, but you can easily catch a public bus or their free shuttle buses that they have stops located throughout the peninsula.
Caught the #26 bus back to the airport. The stop for this bus is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel. Cost less than US$1 so much cheaper than a taxi but not recommended if you have big luggage.
Overall I would recommend this hotel because it is clean and the location is great. Just wish the staff were more friendly.

I was looking for a reasonably priced budget hotel in Macau when I came across ole tai sum in on booking.com. I liked that it was modern and clean and despite being a budget hotel, you still have your free bottled water n kettle in your room.

Location wise first time we took a cab, just show the Chinese name provided by the hotel and it wasn't a problem finding the place. After that, we could use the free casino buses from sofitel Ponte 16 easily to move around.

A great option if you want to watch your travel budget.

I like staying there, not only te location is good but also the small room is well equipped. Small but homey. The glass door of the toilet may be uncomfortable for some people. But if we share the room with family or close friend , i think is okay.
