“Average, old style casino”
Reviewed 23 April 2014

Although it's one of the first casino in Macau, however it's old style. The new casinos in the other parts specially taipa have taken over as those are really the modern style with much more benefits.

“Old school casino charm!”
Reviewed 19 April 2014

I won't review every casino that we went to in Macau but it is worth noting this one.
From yesteryear, with the very low ceilings and opulent furnishings, it is well worth a visit to see just what it would have been like back in the 70s before the glitz and glam of the Wynn and MGM and even it's big brother, the Grand Lisboa, took hold.

modern and large site where greed dominates the human. No need to go in with dress. Too many people. good place, went to bet me thought it was sexy, I liked the spectacle of the couple.

“Flashy lights hide a smoky and stinky casino.”
Reviewed 25 January 2014

There's no doubt the Lisboa casino looks great on the outside.
However, once you get inside, you are immediately engulfed in stinky smoke, but that's common to all casinos.
The only really good reason to visit this place is the amazing photo-op. Otherwise - forget it.

“An education”
Reviewed 26 October 2013

This is worth a visit, simply because there is nothing like it elsewhere!

The 3 floors of public area are a warren of twisting corridors where you are guaranteed to get lost. Walk for 10 minutes and end up back where you started! The décor is old fashioned and quite Chinese imperial, the shops are modern, standard (Gucci, Armarni etc etc).

But the real trick is simply to observe. The TAB outlets where you can bet on anything (even Div 3 UK football games); the Chinese guests, lost, trying to find reception (this is largely a Chinese favoured hotel) and particularly the constant parade of high class (?) well dressed, extremely tall Chinese prostitutes trying hard to attract custom without annoying the genuine tourists who intermingle with their potential customers.

A fascinating study into humanity, especially the behaviours of Chinese (men) on holiday in Macao.
