“Comfortable but overpriced”
Reviewed 23 May 2014 via mobile

I think all hotels in Macau are overpriced and this one is a good example. Yes its located well in Taipa, yes its staff are courteous and efficient, yes it has restaurants and a casino, yet its rooms are comfortable but a little run down. The plug in the sink didnt work, the air con was erratic, an empty bar fridge and a four star hotel without room service? I would call it 2+ or three star at best. And because of that i believe its overpriced. Spend some money on refurbishment of the rooms and it may get a better rating. Just sticking a big flat screen TV in there doesnt justify a four star rating in my opinion. I do love a hotel that has bellboys in uniform though, thats classic. Overall however it was average in terms of value for money.

The location is convenient with bus-stops and money changer in the vicinity. Breakfast is decent with vegetarian spread. Not too far from Galaxy & Venetian, well connected by bus to the Macau Island. Has an Indian Restaurant in the next street

Room Tip: Non-smoking, King Size if you have kids for whom you dont need additional bed

Sorry, you only have a great location near to Venetian Resort,
you have a smell-carpet,
by now you have to rejuvenated your aminities,
and trained your staff to having at least basic English to communicate to worldwide guest.

This is the hotel I've got very mixed feelings about. On one hand - nice clean facilities in a good location with very friendly and professional staff. What else there is to want from hotel, right?
Well, how about being able actually get some rest there - this is where is falls very short. It's almost doesn't matter when I tried to sleep - day or night - there are always people coming and going outside my room, chatting really really loud... and it kept repeating, so I couldn't really get more than 3-4 hours of interrupted sleep. It applies to my whole stay (and I've stayed there 3 days).
Breakfast in adequate, although exactly the same every morning - nothing fancy, reasonably priced.
Another important thing to mention is they don't have wireless internet - only wired one - which may be and advantage (it's very stable and very fast) or a real curse (for example if you don't have LAN port in your MacBook, or want to use computer in your bed, etc.) - depending on how you look at it.
So here you have it - as for me, I'd give it 5 stars with very little hesitation, if only I could have slept better there.

As my girlfriend put it - this is a traditional Chinese hotel. She's a local - so I am going to take her word on that. Check in was quick and easy and the staff were very friendly. We were even able to check in an hour early without being penalized for doing so. The rooms are very clean and the shower pressure and temperatures were amazing. However, be warned - the beds are **EXTREMELY** firm - read: rock hard. You'll sleep - no doubt, but don't go plopping yourself onto the mattress from on high as you will get hurt. There is no wifi and getting a taxi out front can take upwards of 20m - although truth be told, the bus stop is right around the corner and is only a 15m ride to the Venetian, Galaxy, etc. For what we paid I honestly cannot complain - the room/hotel served it's purpose.

Ok.... The positives are it is cheap, clean, and easy to find.

The downsides are there is no wifi, no shuttle service to the airport and the pool seemingly always "under maintenance". If you want to be very far from all of the major attractions, this hotel is for you.

Hotel doesn't seems to be what previewed on the internet. Rooms are okay. Swimming pool is there but something is missing ahh.. the water. Not only this but the hotel really need some kind of renovation.
