We choose to stay only 1 night in Macau as we preferred to spend more time in Hong Kong.
We opted for the Bella Suite with Cotai View, which comes with 2 queen sized bed. Room was huge and very nicely/luxuriously decorated. In fact, not only the rooms but the whole hotel was nicely designed/built. The huge suite comes with 2 TVs, 1 is situated in the bedroom while the other is located in the living room (with sofa and a work desk equipped). Beds were very comfortable and nicely designed. Toilets are huge too, with individual shower and bathtubs equipped. Rooms also comes with free wifi .
Have no regrets paying more for Cotai View, as you can get great views when lights come out during night time.
As The Venetian is a popular hotel among tourists, the hotel offered us express check in through email before we arrive. This enables us to avoid the ques during check in and I felt that this is something which is helpful for families travelling with children.
As The Venetian is a huge building, you can really get lost and had to seek assistance for directions. Due to the casino being built in the 1st level, families travelling with children are not allowed to pass by the casino area. Thus they have to take a longer route by accessing through level 3 towards to Shoppes in order to access to the rooms. This is something which is really frustrating and hopefully the hotel can come up with solutions to cater for families with children below 18.
Heard that the Casino in The Venetian is one of the biggest in Macau, thus I believe this is also one of the reason why the hotel is always packed with many tourists.
There is a food court in the hotel which serves many different kinds of food/cuisines, however food is expensive and didn't have good standards.
For shopping, guests are spoilt for choices. Products ranges from low end to high end/luxury top brands. You get linked access to Shoppes at Venetian to Shoppes at Four Seasons to Shoppes at Cotai Central.
All in all, I felt that it is a good to have a one night's experience staying in The Venetian though it is pricey. May consider to return.
