“Great Hotel with great service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 March 2011

Have no regret chosing this hotel. Book 2 rooms from hotel.com buy 2 nite get 1 nite free. 5 stars hotel with the price we pay is so worth it. The room was clean, toliet come with TV but the bath tub does not come with a shower screen so when you bath all the water will flow out. The other room have a standing shower and bath tub. Think house keeping come twice a day...was really impress with their service level. hotel provide shuttle bus to macau ferry terminal then from there you can take free shuttle bus to city of dream or other hotel.

The Sofitel is very beautiful. One of the best Sofitels that I have visited. Large rooms, very clean, nice pool area. Breakfast is superb. Sparkling wine is included, fresh juices, eggs any way you like. Friendly atmosphere, staff is very friendly and helpful. Great place to be. Stylish. Definetely THE place to be.

Wow! What a beautiful, classy and trendy hotel! Candles and fresh flowers everywhere! We travel a lot but this is one of the most impressive hotels we've been to. Our luxurious Club room on 16th floor had a lovely river view and looked absolutely gorgeous. Great comfortable huge bed with luxurious soft linen and heavenly "not-too-soft not-too-hard" pillows. Lovely sitting area from where you could admire the view...Soft and cuddly bathrobes with matching slippers...Beautiful bathroom with bath, separate shower and separate toilet, soft king size towels. Small TV on the wall so you can watch it while having a nice hot bath...Quality shampoo, conditioner, bath foam, soaps
(brand Hermes, Paris ), etc. Perfumed body moisturiser smelled absolutely divine. Buffet breakfast was great with lots of variety and huge selection of quality fresh food. Service excellent wherever you go, staff helpful and professional, willing to please you in any way they can. Afternoon tea and evening cocktails in a Club Lounge excellent, great finger food, cakes, oysters, prawn dumplings, mouth watering crepes, fresh fruit, etc. I suggest that you upgrade to a Club room, it's worth paying a few dollars more and you don't have to worry about lunch or dinner, Club room is all inclusive. We also visited Casino at the hotel but didn't stay long due to cigarette smoke, nearly everybody in there was smoking so we left early. Check out Michael Jacksons Gallery on Level 1 - very interesting to see! Hotel has a free shuttle bus which runs between Ferry Terminal and hotel every 15 minutes. Shopping is short walk away from the hotel and is generally cheaper than at Hong Kong. So, if you want to be spoiled and you are looking for something special and memorable then don't think twice and book yourself in at this truly amazing hotel, with amazing staff!

Stayed with spouse and 2 more couples. Excellent and fast check-in. Rooms were upgraded and beautiful. Bed and pillows were confined to the finest type that one can be peacefully at sleep. Service and hospitality was brilliant ! The comment from my guests was with praise!
This is the second time that I have stayed there and when at Macau, will still be staying at this hotel. The convenience on the transportation, is well provided to Border Gate (to Zhuhai) and to the Ferry Terminal.
Will recommend that the hotel provides transfer from airport.

What can I say. I love everything about this hotel. The feel, location, luxury. The staff are EXCELLENT! Food is EXCELLENT! Although the hotel is away from the Casino areas, it is only about 15-20 mins walk. Within 10 mins you are in Macau ruins of St Paul. There are many cheap Portuguese restaurants close by in Macau Senado Square. No need to worry about the transport. You can catch the FREE Shuttle from the Ferry Terminal.
