“Lovely afternoon tea”
Reviewed 6 June 2013

This cafe is in an idyllic spot overlooking the Calf of Man. You could sit there for hours admiring the view and watching the seals. There scones are to die for as well as their selection of cakes. We often go there for an afternoon coffee and have enjoyed it each time.

“Good place to visit - food is incidental”
Reviewed 3 June 2013

The sound is a great place to visit if the weather is good. There are fantastic views over the calf of man.

The cafe is fine. A bit expensive for what it is as noted in other reviews. The food / drinks are all ok - but are incidental really - ie the main point is to see the view and walk along the coast.

I wouldn't visit the cafe just for the food - but its fine for drinks and cakes.

“Food with a view”
Reviewed 24 May 2013 via mobile

This isn't a visitor centre - it's a cafe- with an incredible view. Well worth the drive down a long winding road towards the sea. There is plenty of parking and a loo. You can leave the car and access the coastal path in both directions or you can sit and drink coffee and marvel at the view.

“Snacks and seals.”
Reviewed 21 May 2013

There are not many places where you can sit in a warm cafe with panoramic views like this. There are seals bobbing around in the water and stunning scenery.Cafe staff very friendly and helpfull.
