Me and my boyfriend stayed here and absolutely loved it. we have stayed in the dream castle & magic circus but am coming back to the explorer this year.
It is very clean and spacious and have lovely views looking out onto the lake.
the food court has a lovely pizza parlour which is cooked fresh for you and quick & easy when we get back from a whole entire day at the park and fancy a snack!
The staff were polite are helpful too when we asked for more towels.
The breakfast is continental and we had cereals, croissants and toast which were nice.
The free shuttle bus comes frequently and explorers is the first stop off when coming from disney so means your only on the bus for 5 minutes.
We are looking forward to our next stay here in September!! x

Unlike previous comment we stayed at the hotel at the same time and had a completely different experience.

Arrival and check in was easy, our room was clean with adequate space for a family of 4.

Breakfast was busy but what else would you expect in a Disney complex hotel?

swimming pool was good fun and clean with plenty for both younger and older children. Just remember your speedo's men!

Soft play and pirates ship was welcomed by our children (4&7) in the evening and us so we could enjoy a (quite pricey) drink.
The restaurants were expensive but do offer a pizza takeout at around €12 each

Buses every 15 minutes to the park which is only a short distance away.

I believe that those who have posted negative reviews forget that they have booked and paid for a 3* Hotel if you want perfection pay for a 5* hotel.

We will happily be returning.

We stayed here on recommendation from Disneyland Parc hotels and it was an experience I would never want to repeat again. We arrived just past midnight. The hotel was still rather busy, the reception not manned adequately, our room was very basic and did not feel clean at all. Breakfast was al complete joke and free for all, crockery was dirty, probably as a result of volume. This hotel does not reflect the star rating it has. The staff are clearly underpressure and the majority need to take a course in providing good customer service. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Also offers free wifi but extremely difficult to connect.

The Explorers Hotel is a perfect base for Disneyland Paris if, like me, you like to be pretty independent. By that, I mean I hate having someone fussing over me all the time, and prefer just to be left alone to get on with my holiday. In this respect, the Explorers Hotel is perfect. I've read other reviews saying that it is noisy, but I personally never heard a thing during our 6 night stay. We went as a family of 4, but were given a 6 bed room, including, to the delight of my 9 year old boy, bunk beds. On the first night the night light beside the bunk wasn't working, but a quick trip to guest services saw it fixed by the time we returned to our room the next night. So, if you do need assistance from the Hotel staff, you will get it. Free Wi-Fi was something that seemed to be quite widely advertised, but I found it quite difficult to get connected, even a couple of times when I was waken during the night, although when I did manage to get connected, it was fairly reliable. The free shuttle service to the park was always very crowded, don't suppose there is much the hotel could do about that, but we always seemed to be the last pick up, and a quick walk to one of the next door hotels may be worth while to get one of their buses! The only bad thing I would say about the hotel was the advise they gave us regarding a day trip to Paris. They advised that a bus runs from The Magic Circus Hotel, which is correct, and well worth using if you do want to go into Paris for the day, but they told us that The Magic Circus was the next hotel along when it is actually 2 along (not all that much further, but if we hadn't been running pretty early for the trip, we could have missed it) and more importantly, they told us you don't need to pre-book the trip, which we found out to be wrong when we got to The Magic Circus. Full marks to the girl in the Magic Circus who got us booked onto the trip for that day without us even being guests at her hotel! Final thing to say, we used ezyshuttle.com for transfers to and from CDG, and couldn't recommend them highly enough. At 70 euros each way, we recon it was actually cheaper than getting the bus, and both our drivers were superb and realised that it is more important to get there in one piece than to get there quickly!
