“What a gem!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 June 2014

We have just stayed 2 nights (far too little time) in this fabulous apartment. We have stayed in many apartments and this is definitely one of the best!!
Although we did not cook during our 2 night stay, there is everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay.
Parking on site, washing machine available if needed.
The views from the balcony are wonderful.
Don't be afraid that the accommodation is not right in town, as there is a path which is a short walk into town.
I highly recommend - such wonderful hosts!!

Room Tip: I am sure every apartment would be of equal quality.

Many thanks for your lovely review. We try our best to make sure our Guests have all the "comforts of home" and it is nice to see that we seem to be getting things about right.

As you say, we are not far from the centre of Bad Ischl and the walk into town is a nice way to build up an appetite for some coffee and cake or one of the lovely restaurants!

We hope we will be able to welcome you back sometime soon.

Beautiful position and views. Immaculate rooms, very comfortable beds and every convenience you need when on holiday. Linda and Trevor are the perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble. We will certainly visit again and recommend it highly. A great place for a holiday, be it skiing, walking or just sightseeing.

Linda and Trevor were very nice and hospitable, and the apartments are first class, comfortably big and fully equipped. I really liked the ski storage room in the cellar with boot dryer heater in the cupboard. I was even more surprised to see when we arrived back from skiing that Linda and Trevor made our beds and also washed the dishes!

So we are totally satisfied what we got for our (not so much) money! We plan to go back to them for hiking in the Summer because the mountains and the lake looks really good, and next winter we absolutely will spend more days there then just a weekend. Maybe this March if there will be enough snow and we still have money, will try to go for another weekend!

Room Tip: apartments on the second floor have balcony but they are a little smaller because of the attic, but...

3 of us stayed here last June. Linda & Trevor are the best, they make us feel at home and offer lots of help. The apartment is very nice, well decorated, spotless clean and comfy....Due to the storm weather, we failed to go to Hallstatt as we planned, but we still had a good time in the lovly room, chatting, eating,relaxing....the view around the house is fabulous.....

I still want to go to Hallstatt someday, so I will definitely go back again,,,,

Thanks for your review. Yes you stayed with us when there was a massive storm in this part of Austria with lots of flooding too. It was a shame that you didn't get to Hallstatt but it is nice to know you still enjoyed your stay with us. Maybe you will have chance to visit Austria again sometime and this time see the beautiful village of Hallstatt. It is certainly worth a visit!

We visited for skiing and festive relaxation and Linda & Trevor certainly helped us achieve both with ski reports and We know the town reasonably well but there were new features and restaurants to be explored as well as special festive events such as a fantastic meal at a local restaurant with carols in German.

We were also fortunate to have coincided our visit with a performance from MGV Bad Ischl in Pfandel church including quartet and solo performances from Trevor.

We really cannot recommend it highly enough and we will be back next year.

Really warm welcome was followed by really nice careness during our family stay. Very nice appartment, quiet area of a towm, toys for childrens, place to park a car, and I´m sure Linda and Trevor should be able to help you with any other need :-)

Room Tip: appartment no 5 is good, only you have to calculate you will hear the watter flow when neighbors use...

We stayed here for a long weekend in Bad Ischl. It was great to have an apartment which gave us much more flexibility during our stay. Amazing to wake up to a view of the snow covered mountains in the morning, and then to have breakfast and hot coffee brought to our room.

The guesthouse makes a perfect base for exploring Bad Ischl itself and the surrounding mountains. Only 15 min walk to the spa and we found a couple of lovely walks from the guesthouse.

Trevor and Linda were incredibly helpful both before and during our stay and made everything stress free. We can highly recommend the guesthouse as a place to stay.
