Wow! As an avid reader of all things WWII this little museum made me feel like I had literally stepped back in time. The museum really gives a profound sense of what life was like on Guernsey during the Occupation. A excellent array of artefacts arranged in an easy and captivating manner. There was so much to read and take in. I'll definitely be back.

So glad we made the effort to visit here! From the outside we thought we might struggle to fill the hour til the next bus!! How wrong, we missed the next 2 buses!!
Informative video, loads of bits and pieces left after the war to give a proper insight to life in the war under occupation. Lots of info to take on and displays. Also a street to walk down and larger exhibits to see. Had a coffee and cake in garden which was lovingly looked after too. Couldn't recommend this place any higher!!

This was a most interesting place to visit and find out more about the occupation of the Island but I found it very upsetting to see what the people went through and how they coped with it all the cold atmosphere inside certainly made you think how lucky we were in comparison but I would thoroughly recommend a visit if you get the chance

There was such a lot to see here about the occupation of Guernsey during ww11, it is never ending, the personal islander stories on the wall are heart breaking and the amount of things that have been collected and shown from that period is immense. There is a little tea room here and the owner is receptionist, chief cook and bottle washer, he told us he only just scrapes by and cannot afford to employ anyone to help, such a shame there should be volunteers queuing up to help him, the little garden is a haven to sit in and overall this place is well worth a visit just for the quantity of artefact's on display and the quirky way its done
