“Family friendly rental in a great location”
Reviewed 6 August 2018 for a stay in June 2018

Good house for a large family holiday in a great location. The beach that is only 5 minutes walk away is nice but not great for children as it’s quite stoney. 20 minutes walk from the house in the area of Palmira is a fantastic beach which is true to what Sardinia is best known for.
The house has a few things you should know about - with only 6 kilowatts of power serving 11 people, when you have the oven on, phone charging, TV on, and dare to plug in your hair straighteners, you’ll be sure to over load and cause a power cut! Only the maintenance guy can fix this so when you are without any power for 2+ hours it can be difficult....especially when the host fails to tell you this crucial piece of information!
There is no kettle - not a big deal as you can go back to doing it the good old fashioned way. It’s just not great when you want that quick pick me up cuppa in the morning.
Sadly there is a bad smell in the rooms and bathroom on the ground level apartment, almost like a sewage smell. Unfortunately the host did nothing about this on the two separate occasions that it was mentioned so be warned!
There is NO WIFI - despite the feedback from previous reviews (March 2018) there is still no connectivity so go knowing this!
The host is helpful in recommending local restaurants, tours and guides.
All in all, we had a great time in Sardinia however unless the particulars of the house are sorted not likely to book this property again.
