nice quiet location, great landscape. relax and enjoy, we were lucky that the weather was just like a summer's day. staff very helpful, you don't really have to eat in dining room as the food in the bar area is of very fine quality.

Stayed here for one night in a castle double. Couldn't fault a thing about the hotel. The staff, food, rooms, everything was perfect.

Our room was in the stables section, up a few flights of stairs. The bed was really comfy, the bath a bonus & the shower was amazing. Only negative was no wifi in rooms, but then it is a castle!

Dinner in the bar was excellent, service staff were really friendly. The breakfast was great too, lots of choice.

The grounds are amazing. I wish we could've stayed longer!

Possibly the most beautiful getaway destination I have ever been to. On arrival I was overwhelmed with the sheer beauty of the premises and it surroundings from the walkways, lakes and walled garden which could only be described as majestic. We then checked in where we were greeted by a welcoming staff and then shown to our fabulous room with an even more amazing view. The food was delicious and our meal was made even more enjoyable by the friendly restaurant manager on duty. During our stay we also tried the Jameson experience which was talked through by the knowledgable Barman and was thoroughly enjoyed. This was by far my favourite destination for a getaway and I hope to return again soon.

Stayed 3 nights in gate house. Huge rooms, very luxurious and parking right there. Grounds are stunning, renovation just beautiful. Breakfast buffet included every day was magnificent. The afternoon tea service and the menu in the pub were perfect. However, the best thing there are the staff members. Genuine, kind, thoughtful, everyone we encountered couldn't do enough for you. Our waiters were fun and down to earth. The reception staff went out of their way every time. This castle estate is not a place it is an experience!

We stayed at Lough Rynn for 2 nights for a family wedding. The staff were amazing and I was so proud to see good Irish Hospility. From the reception, floor staff, waiting staff and bar nothing was any trouble and if you met any of them in the corridor they greeted you with a big smile and a hello! The food and service was excellent. Thank you.

Room Tip: If you have elderly parents or small children make sure you request a ground floor. We stayed in an...

I travelled to Ireland with my mum and stayed here as it had been home to her school about 70 years ago. The treatment we received was amazing, the staff were incredibly helpful. I am allergic to gluten and dariy which is usually a real pain and I end up with the dullest food on earth. Not here. They gave me the menu and said, "see what you fancy and we'll see it we can do it"! Amazing.
The bed was, for some reason, the most comfortable I have ever slept in, and it was with real reluctance that I got out of it. Everything was fantastic, and really understated, not in your face and snobby. I can't recommend it highly enough.
