Stunning location surrounded by great gardens. Perfect for afternoon tea with family/friends. We enjoyed a cheeky prosecco - excellent way to relax. Make sure to stroll around the gardens after. Highly recommend it!

stayed here for a weekend. staff very good and helpful. food excellent, rooms well laid out , some outside the hotel but only 2 mins walk. great views beside the lake and walks around.
would help if they sorted out breakfast room , only takes a small number so you have to wait even of peak times. less than 2 hours from dublin

Room Tip: watch out if a wedding is on the same time you are going , can be quite full if one is one

Pure and simply delectable. Luxury at affordable priced. Beautiful and elegant gardens with relaxing and calming walks.
Food where do I start . Super Chefs who realy know how to amalgamate ingredients to serve us the most delicious food. Truly faultless and delicious.

The property itself is just stunningly magnificent both outside and inside. Beautifully furnished to the highest standard with stunning views.

The Staff are wonderfully kind and professional who really make you feel like you have just come home after being away for a long time.

Well done to all who work here . It is you who make this one of My Best Ten Hotels in Ireland to visit and stay in .

Myself and three friends enjoyed the most fabulous afternoon tea. The setting was stunning, the service was excellent and the afternoon tea was to die for! Not expensive either. We'll be back as soon as we can!

We stayed in the castle over the Easter Hols and found it really wonderful on all accounts. The bedroom décor and bathroom were pure luxury - the castle itself is authentic and decorated very tastefully and comfortably and in keeping with the period - the staff are very helpful and chatty and the food was fantastic - the grounds are immaculate with fantastic views of the lake over rolling lawns and parkland with formal gardens overlooking the water to the side.

Room Tip: there are only 10 rooms in the castle itself with additional rooms in adjacent old estate managers house
