This was the highlight of our holiday,. The islands we visited were beautiful and sailing along in the boat was very relaxing and beautiful. The crew work really hard to makje sure you are having fun and every moment is memorable. Highlights include snorkelling and entertainment on the boat.
Easily the best experience of our holiday and something we will remember. Would go again tomorrow if I could.
Excellent value for money and it included lunch, donuts and watermelon.

“Not to be missed”
Reviewed 14 October 2011

On our holiday to kos we were approached by lots of trip operators for the 3 island tour, but after seeing the Katerina reviews on trip adviser we made straight for the Katerina. Unlike the other boat operators George was not stood touting for business and invited us on board to have a look around. The trip was fantastic, we were not promised anything but a good time..... and we got it. The crew were so friendly and entertaining. After one of the island visits we returned to lunch which was a basic salad rice and bqq'd meat then after swimming in plattimus ( sorry for spelling) we were given fresh water melon and after our final stop mini doughnuts dripping with honey.
On the way back there was music dancing and magic tricks for the young ones. The sudden cries of fishies fishes from costas ment that there were dolphins around and the boat changed direction and followed the doplhins around for a while....... Amazing!!

If your thinking of going on the 3 island tour you will not be disapointed with the Katerina family....I PROMISE ( some people on the trip were there for the third time that week)

We did take the island tour again the week after only this time we went on the 'Christina' an english lady stopped us and told us about their boat, how we would be taken to the sponge factory on kalyminos (again sorry for the spelling) and we would be 90% guarneteed to see dolphins as they took us to the fisheries were they had seen.... I think she said something like 17 dolphins the day before. On the day the weather was a bit windy and we got soaked, we did not see any doplhins nor did we get taken to the sponge factory, we were told at 1 island ' go to that cafe over there it is my family and I will give you free drink when you come back. We went to one of the other cafes and got talking to the owner who was astralian/greek, he told us that them saying that to passngers is taking the business away from all the other restaraunts /cafes as it takes away the free trade.
Once back on board we were given lunch... the salad was limp and brown the meat was chewy and I noticed nobody ate.
When they stopped for people to swim the owner made people uncomfortable by ridiculing them if they didn't want to jump of the boat. There was no entertainment and you was barley spoken to. We couldnt wait to get back to Kos.

Definatly choose the katerina

“Katerina 3 Island Tour”
Reviewed 24 September 2011

We did this trip because of the reviews on trip advisor and was not disappointed we had a fantastic day out. We also noticed that when we walked down on a night after our trip there were lots of boats touting for your business but George off the Katerina was very rarely seen off the boat and it was obvious that he did not have to tout much because there were plenty of people who obviously had been recommended to this trip. When we went to find the boat we walk along them all and George just sits on his boat and if you show an interest he will greet you and offer to show you around the boat so that you can get a feel for it.
We went on a 3-island trips throughout and it cost us 20 Euros each for a great day in September I was told that the trip is 30E July/Aug. Not long after we set sail George starts to invite people to sail the boat and everyone can have a turn if required, George will also take photos of you driving, you can steer the boat for quite a while and also sound the horn whenever you like. We stopped off at a secluded bay where we dropped anchor and had a great time snorkelling. While we enjoyed ourselves the family set about preparing lunch for everybody - a great mix of barbecued meat, salad, rice and fresh bread The food is included in the price but drinks are extra but still good value we bought water which was 50c a small bottle. On to Kalymnos we had an hour to go around the town then sailed to 'the island of sponges'. Out of the 3 islands we visited we had a chance to swim at 2 of them.
On our return the "Pirates of the Caribean" theme tune blast out of the speakers and the crew break out all manner of pirate related fancy dress items that everyone lapped up! You can get dressed up as a pirate and again photo’s can be taken then the traditional Greek dancing starts with the men clearing the sundeck so that George can show all the ladies how it's done! All of this brings the day to a close with a fantastic party atmosphere that spills out onto the harbour.
Every night after we did the tour George also shouted to us when we passed, shook our hand and invited us onto his boat if we wanted to.
If you only do 1 tour then this is definitely the one to do, all the crew work extremely hard to make this a memorable day.

“Fantastic value, fun filled day!”
Reviewed 2 September 2011

We found the Katerina on the day moored in Kos harbour along with many others ships but chose this one based on the previous reviews and were not disappointed. The crew worked incredibly hard to make this a memorable day - we all had the chance to steer the boat, played magic games, sung, danced, ate amazing food & were taken to some very special islands, sunbathing on deck as we travelled. Incredible value at €20 each with a BBQ meal, donuts & watermelon with reasonable bar prices. Highly recommend this trip.

“Fantastic great value day out for all the family”
Reviewed 17 August 2011

Captain George and his family run their own boat out of Kos Town providing 3-island trips throughout the holiday season. You'll find lots of boat owners touting for your business in the evenings but look for the Katerina and George will welcome you with a glass of Ouzo and show you around. We paid 20 Euros each for a great day out. Ample mattresses on top of the sundeck made for a relaxing trip across the Aegean to the first stop - a secluded bay where we dropped anchor and had a great time snorkelling in the crystal clear waters. While we enjoyed ourselves the family set about preparing lunch for everybody - a great mix of barbecued meat, salad, rice and fresh bread that I'd have been proud to produce at home, together with beer or soft drinks. The food is included in the price but any drinks are extra but still good value. On to Kalymnos where we had an hour to check out the town before setting sail for for 'the island of sponges' where we landed in the most tranquil bay I have ever seen! More time to swim, relax and shop for souvenirs before setting sail back to Kos. As soon as we hit the open sea, the strains of the "Pirates of the Caribean" theme tune blast out of the speakers and the crew break out all manner of pirate related fancy dress items that everyone lapped up! George and the rest of the family will take pictures of you in your fancy dress - even steering the boat and the favourite 'Kate & Leo' shot on the prow are readily available! Once everyone's had their fill of the fancy dress, the traditional Greek dancing starts with the men clearing the sundeck so that George can show all the ladies how it's done! All of this brings the day to a close with a fantastic party atmosphere that spills out onto the harbour and puts you in the mood for another fantastic evening in town! The whole trip is around 8 hours and well worth the money!
