“Nice holiday”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 October 2012 via mobile

Before we went on our holiday, we read lots of these reviews, so the least I could do is add my own. Firstly I think it helps to know about the person writing the review. My fiance and I are early 40's and are no longer looking for night club's. We like a quiet life. The hotel was beautiful, we stayed in a family suite. The bed was huge, new and so comfy. 10/10. The pools where gorgeous. The food was nice, we went all inclusive and after about 5 days had started to get bored with the choice. We used our freebies for the Italian restaurant, but then decided to go out to eat for some variety. If the hotel was closer to either lambi or kos town it would have been a lot better. As there isn't anything else nr the hotel, the beach opposite isn't a very nice beach. Too small and stoney. The staff where very helpful and friendly. We didn't want to get involved in the entertainment, which was hard to avoid as there is only one bar . However I was told by our rep it is their first year for running all inclusive, so hopefully they will improve on the little problems. All together the hotel is a very nice place to stay.

We stayed from the 3rd of september, hotel is fantastic even though its not completly finished, im sure that when it is it will be beautiful.we stayed in a suite on an all inclusive basis.the food is of a very high standard plenty of choice even for fussy eaters, our room was really great the bathroom was huge with a bath and 2 showers .bed comfey compared to all other hotels ive stayed in.room cleaned daily fresh towels and bedding also daily.the older rooms where nice as some of our guests had these very spacious, but its worth the extra to have a suite.as said on a previous review the drinks quality is poor, i dont agree totally the wine is good beer is ok,coke and spirits arnt the best but they never are unless you buy bottled coke/sprite etc in greece and you cant expect the stronger international brands as it states this in the thomas cook brocure.the only thing i think is the all inclusive option should be until 12.we found that the snacks where included and had no problem to get slices pf pizza cheese pies and cobs all day.all staff where friendly particullarly bill who works really hard at the pool bar he was lovley!we had our wedding here and reception at the al a carte, it was perfect staff so helpful they even made us a chocolate wedding cake:)lastly the animation team they work very long hours they are all so nice and im sure they would provide better entertainment with more money invested in it.i would stay here again im prity sure all our guests loved it too.

The hotel and facilities are very good. Staff were pleasant and helpful and the breakfast was well worth 9 euros (we stayed on a self catering basis) the hotel is a good 20 minute walk into Kos but the bus service is great and runs every 15 minutes until 2 a.m. The location is quite isolated and you really need transport to experience the best of Kos. The little supermarket next door is run by a very nice family and the meal in the taverna was one of the best.

Spent 2 weeks staying at the Pelagos Suites Hotel in August this year.We travelled with another family so there were 4 adults and 4 children. On arrival we were escorted to our family suites which were beautiful, they were kept spottlessly clean and towels were changed daily. The food was of a good standard,my only niggling point would be that if we all wanted to eat together we had to get to the restaurant early.Ive read people complaining about the sunbeds and how they are reserved with towels by the guests we did experience this but a member of staff was seen removing towels off of beds that werent being used.People are complaing about the animation team!! I cant believe it! they were fantastic! they work so hard 6 days a week all day and night! in our eyes they should be paid more! the shows in the evening were mostly organised and performed by the team with the odd act bought in,this was because they didnt have a large enough budget! over all we had a fantastic holiday and are returning next summer. If you go to the hotel please just make sure you request the new part of the hotel for accomodation. We definately reccommend this hotel.

just returned from a week all inclusive at the pelagos 2/09/12 .
first i will start with the good points,we stayed in a junior suite which was by far the best room we have ever stayed in ie double bed on balcony, two sinks, two power showers ,jaccussi bath, king size bed. food excellent service in resteraunt excellent.staff very friendly and efficent.sun beds round pool were extremely comfortable.
now the bad the animation team were a joke worst i have ever experinced in thirty years of hotels, day time entertainment was none existent all they seemed to do is laze around the pool with the young girls, don,t know what they got payed but what ever it was it was too much.evening entertainment is drab, unless your between 3 and 7 years old.nothing going on for the adults.we were amazed and disgusted at how parents let there young children as young as 5 fill there plates with food in the resteraunt picking food up with there fingers. for a five star hotel i feel this needs to be addressed.some of the bar staff at the pool bar seem to take the time serving all inclusive guests, one in perticular totally ignored my wife and my friends wife also so much so she refused to go back to the bar any more.

Room Tip: go for a junior suite or above.

Stayed in August 2012 for one week paid nearly£1800 for one week for two all inclusive. Beware if you book a studio, they are nothing like you see in the brochures, suites are nice but studios are no more than 3 star at best. Staff by and large are good. Evening entertainment is laughable, absolutely dire. All inclusive stops at 11pm sharp and then drinks are pricey.

Food is pretty goodon the whole but we ate out 3 nights because however good it is a buffet and is a bit samey but on the whole no complaints in that area. The scramble for sun beds is laughable.

Overall it was OK but do beware you do not get a studio

2 weeks at the Pelagos suites hotel gives me the opportunity to give a good and fair review of this hotel, which is built in the most beautiful grounds. Thomas Cook should review their brochure review as an all inclusive guest we felt that we were penalised as you only got the cheap soft drinks that were almost undrinkable, water that you could only get from the same machines as the fizzy drinks, no cocktails, no pure freshly sqeezed juice unless it was paid for and all inclusive guests had to pay for any drink after 11pm including water. No snacks for the all inclusive either, this was only for the paying guest.
FOOD.... Nicely prepared, clean and appetising, however the selection of food was very poor. Very limited choice. The food was NOT labelled correctly or at all.
Rooms, suites beautiful, no complaints, house keeping ordinary, what this hotel lacks are the extras. This is supposed to be a newly upgraded 5* but is truly not what it should be. The hotel has the potential to be really really good. At present they have run out of money so have not finished renovating it, the new reception area has been left unfinished.
Entertainment..... Animation team, bone idol has to be the only way to describe them, embarrassiing. I have never written a review before but for the money this hotel is not good value for money and I wish to share this to give people the opportunity to read a review that is 100% true.
Overall disappointing but the hotel itself and the pool area looks really pretty.

Room Tip: Get a suite or junior suite and ask for the new block. If possible away from the pool area alittle a...
