“"Happy Families"”
Reviewed 20 July 2014

Returned from 10days of bliss after booking this holiday last minute and having the last room. Travelling with an almost 18year old and worrying about her being bored should not have concerned us. Meeting two fantastic families with same age girls was a hit from the outset.

Animation team, what can I say. If we wanted to we could do, stretching, bowls, aqua gym, football, darts to name a few, led by a fantastic team, Boris, Alex, Hatem, Stefan, Dominika, Michael, Simona. Then entertained by them in the night shows, comedy show, haven't laughed so much for ages, Alex in his skimpy undies, great choreography(Dominika) finishing with the water show.
Absolutely loved aqua gym followed by the club dance on poolside, all the animation costumes made for great fun.

When watching the evening show, the man of the night is Bill waiting on us with drinks all night. He even taught one of the girls to wait on a table. A real gentleman, friend and a pleasure to know.

Plenty of pools to choose from, the whole ambience of the hotel was calm, relaxing, engaging and amazing. If you want a beach, this for me is not the place to go although there is a nice one about 20minutes away.

Staff all happy ,helpful from cleaning the rooms, to restaurant waiters and reception.

All inclusive food was good we enjoyed the italien( just be careful if you go on pizza night as we did) they do not tell everyone you do not have to have pizza. Not a fan of the puddings as very samey and all contain a type of sweetened cream. Drinks until 11pm all inclusive, I did feed back that I felt this was too early as the entertainment does not finish until 11pm.

Kos town is about a 25 minute easy walk, or bikes are 2.50 euros per day and the bus 1.20 euros each way. My daughter wanted to hire a quad as lots of these but did not get around to this.

Only regret, wish we were there now, thanks to the families who made this holiday so fantastic, to Bill for keeping us filled with drinks, and some very special animation team members as my daughter says if only money and time allowed she'd be back

Room Tip: ask for a room in the new block, we had a first floor suite with balcony overlooking one of the main...

We stayed in a junior suite room for one week in June.
The room was lovely, very modern and spacious. The beds are huge and very comfy. The bathroom contains two showers (one of which is also a bath with jet streams!) which was really nice. The room and the rest of the hotel were always spotlessly clean!

We were all-inclusive and the service in the main restaurant and also the Italian restaurant (you get one free visit here as part of the all-inclusive option) were exceptional. The waiters and waitresses must work such long hours but they were all so friendly and attentive.
The food is buffet-style for breakfast lunch and dinner. Breakfast and lunch are similar most days but there was a very wide selection of food to suit everybody. Dinner is usually themed, themed nights I remember are Asian, Mexican and BBQ. All were excellent and there was always at least one (if not more) vegetarian options as well. (One thing I would mention though is Greek people will often cook using beef stock, including vegetarian meals, so fussy veggies beware of this!). Also all the desserts are amazing (try the pistachio ice-cream it's lovely!!). We were very impressed with the food here.

The hotel itself is about a 10-15 minute bike ride away from Kos Town. We would definitely recommend hiring bikes because it is so cheap to do so and cycling is the easiest way to get around! Most of the journey into Kos Town has separate bike lanes so you don't even have to cycle on the roads. We cycled to Agios Fokas beach which was an excellent (flat) cycle ride, which is further on past Kos Town. If you wanted to you could then cycle a further 3km (steep uphill ride) to Bros Therma.

We also visited Paradise Beach and went on the three-island tour, we really enjoyed both of these trips. One thing worth noting - Thomas Cook were selling the three-island tour boat trip for about €55 per adult ticket. However, if you go down to Kos Town harbor the night before you want to go on the boat trip or before 9.30am on the morning you want to do the boat trip, you can buy your ticket directly from the boat owner for €25- €30 per ticket - and it's exactly the same trip!

Overall, we loved our time in Kos at the Pelagos Suite hotel! We would recommend it to everyone and will definitely be returning to Greece in the future!!

Room Tip: Get a junior suite! They are lovely! Especially for couples! Get in the door quickly at night thoug...

We stayed here for a week from the 18th May. We love Greece and always try and go once a year at least. The hotel is set around a luxury pool there are plenty of sunbeds, there's 2 quiter pools too. We were in a suite over looking the pool, it was large and had a very comfy bed. I would have liked tea and coffee as well as the kettle in the room??

The food in the restaurant was ok , I didn't think it was anything special. In fact I did feel they were cutting back a little and saving a bit of money. We struggled to get a seat inside sometimes as it was quite windy outside. There was prepared Greek dishes and a lady that grilled only 1 kind of meat on a evening I did find it strange though that we didn't have any grilled chicken all week. There were lamb chops, meat balls and Turkey and always chips. There was cooked pasta but it was cold when I tried it. The salad bar was fab and I enjoyed the traditional Greek sweets and the ice cream too was lovely. Oh and omlettes were good at breakfast. We tried the Italian we had a very nice meal and great service. We also had takeaway pizza for 6 euros they were lovely.

The outside bar was the only bar open as it was early season. The staff are very friendly and work extremely hard. The entertainment staff never stop although we don't have kids so we just prefer to have a few drinks after dinner. I can't believe you can't have a Greek Metaxa brandy though on the All inclusive while in Greece???. 11pm was early to finish the All inclusive too.

We hired bikes, what a great deal 6 euros for the week each. Every where is flat and have cycle paths to Kos Town and beyond
had great fun and did about 100km over the week.

Georgos Customer Relations does deserve a special mention as he does care about the enjoyment of his guests, nothing was too much trouble.

Kos Town is a 10 min cycle away and has loads of bars and restaurants along the way. You pass Lambi beach on the way and can get a free sunbed if you buy a couple of drinks.

All in all we had another great holiday in Greece. We would return and would reccomend this Hotel to our friends.

We choose our wedding location in Kos, and needed to find the perfect hotel to cater for families from old to young and married couples and singles and Pelagos was the ideal choice, as it had a little of everything. The pools were amazing, with daily activities if you wanted to join in, these were not forced upon you. There was never an issue getting sunbeds, especially with our large group, and we were always able to get a table together in the restaurant and pool bar. The restaurant staff were always friendly and helpful with getting our drinks and highchair for our little one. We had a family suite which was ideal, plenty of space and very luxurious, with a lovely balcony with a bed on it. The Staff were so lovely and friendly, they made you feel really welcome, our little girl was especially fond of Dominika who was always getting her on stage to dance, a special mention to our mate Giorgos, who made our whole stay memorable with his generosity and Bill for getting our drinks and keeping us entertained, we can't wait to come back next year!!!!

Room Tip: Family Suite was ideal if you had kids, as you could section the room off, and still know they were...

We have just returned from Greece and stayed at the Pelagos Suite Hotel. The hotel itself was beautiful, one of the nicest hotels that we have stayed in. The gardens were very well maintained and the three swimming pools were clean with plenty of areas to sit and sunbathe. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Really couldn't fault this hotel and would definitely recommend to people. We went self catering so we ate out a lot. The food in the hotel pool bar which we went in some lunch times had a good variety and was nicely priced. We ate a lot in a little Taverna which was right next to the hotel, just before the little supermarket. The food was lovely with a good selection and some very traditional dishes on it. The guy who served us was brilliant, let us try some traditional dishes to see whether we liked them, very helpful and friendly. The little supermarket as well was very friendly and all in all we got to know the owner of the Taverna and the supermarket very well. Kos main town is busy with lots of boats along the marina, lots of places to eat in the middle of things, but if you walked a little bit further up the main street there was a lovely market square with lots of little side streets, really worth a visit. We did take a boat trip to Turkey.... very hustle and bustle over there, Turkish people really in your face to the point where it really boarders on rudeness, nothing like the Greek people who were very friendly but didn't insist that you brought things from them. All in all our holiday was lovely, really can not find anything to fault with the hotel or Kos. Would definitely go back.

Room Tip: We were in room 227, lovely queen size bed and was a single bed in the lounge area which was comfort...

We stayed at Pelagos Suites Hotel for my parents 45th anniversary and were treated as royalty. As a surprise for this special occasion we were upgraded upon arrival to one of their beautiful villas so the kids could enjoy the private pool while the adults lounged on the deck. The staff was very kind, attentive and professional and the all-inclusive concept is very elaborate, with different themes every night and - best of all - a huge dessert buffet. The large swimming pool and adjacent slides are beautiful and very childfriendly. The resort is well-maintained and very modern. Renting bikes, scooters, buggies and cars is very simple and Kos Town is within easy reach. Needless to say, we were very sad to leave and would recommend this hotel to anyone. We will very likely head back there ourselves! Biggest compliments for Pelagos!

Room Tip: If you can, choose one of the lovely villas with private pool. All rooms are very comfortable with e...
