This is the second year we went to Kos and stayed at Gaia Garden. This year we decided to bring the kids and not leave behind with there grandparents. We were so impressed with the resort as well as the Island the first time...We had a blast... The kids loved the pool, ping pong table, Pool Table as well as hanging out by the bar area... We got to see a live performance which really made it special for us and the kids..What else can I say.. the food is great as they are always mixing up the menu daily. Another great thing is how friendly the environment and it's the same people as last year...I would really recommend this resort especially how close it is to the City and beach. We would walk to the city which would be a 15 minute walk...

This hotel is okay at best .I have stayed in 4 and 5 star hotels and it does not really come near that standard. The food is of a reasonable standard but the all inclusive package at the bar is not great with no vodka, whiskey or rum included.Staff are helpful at the desk and the bar staff are also okay but seem to have their favourites(in our opinion a party of 8 Germans who seemed to take control of the bar area and indeed the crap Europop dance music which was played during the week). The pool area was good and the atmosphere at the pool was good during the day.The room was also okay but a wee lick of paint would help it a lot.To sum up it was an average hotel and we enjoyed our holiday but the brillaint reviews of the hotel that we read before booking just seem to be way over the top.As I said a very average hotel.

We stayed here for week at the end of August and thought this hotel was excellent.

We arrived at the hotel at 2.30 am but were greeted by a friendly man and shown to our room. The room was a little on the small side, but as we had out 5 year old daughter there was an extra sofa bed in the room which took up a lot of extra space. The room was clean and had air conditioning. The bathroom was again very small but had a reasonably powerful shower and a bath.

The food was lovely. There was a wide variety available at breakfast. There was also a good choice of food available for lunch and dinner and the deserts were delicious. The all inclusive drinks menu was limited to local beer, red and white wine, ouzo and cognac. We only really drank the local beer which was very pleasant.

The pool area was kept nice and clean and we never had any problems getting sun beds. The pool was generally quiet and our daughter had the children's pool to herself for most of our stay.

There is a nearby supermarket about 5 mins walk away (turn right out of hotel and it is at the crossroads) which sold various gifts and souvenirs. The beach is only 10 mins away, even though we didnt go on the beach it looked very nice.

Overall the hotel was excellent and we received great service from the staff. We had a very enjoyable holiday and would rate this hotel :)

I just came back from my vacation in Kos and my stay at Gaia Garden. I could sum up my experience there, in one word: awesome. First of all, the hotel is warm and welcoming. As soon as, I arrived I felt like home. The staff was courteous and friendly. They made sure they satisfied my every need, and always with a smile. The room was very clean and comfortable. It had all modern amenities (A/C. TV, PC, Fridge). The restaurant was always fully stocked. The food was very tasty, and I could not believe the variety and options. I had some great times at the bar. The first night there, I made some new friends. Overall, my stay in Gaia made me comfortable and relaxed. My stay there left me with the best impressions. I totally recommend it to anyone who is looking for an excellent lodging experience in Kos. Many thanx to the management and staff who went out of their way to make my stay in Kos unforgettable. See you next year!

The pool area is very nice and the kids had plenty of fun there, together with the pool and ping pong tables.

The gardens too are nice and the whole area is nicely mapped out.

Staff were very friendly in the bar and restaurant, and service here was very good.

The room was a disappointment - we had a family room to sleep 5, which was two adjoining doubles (one with an extra out-up bed) and a tiny shower room for us all to share. The balcony was spoilt by the air conditioning units being installed low down on the wall, in the way and blowing hot air when on. Two lights in one bedroom did not work and were never fixed even though we mentioned it on day 1.

Worryingly the cleaners kept leaving the patio door either unopen or unlocked. We mentioned this twice to reception but it didn't improve. Not sure if this is just forgetfulness or something more sinister but probably best not to leave valuables in the room (there are small safety deposit boxes you can rent at reception)

The food was a mixed bag - at first it seemed quite good but you soon tire of it and the choice for a vegetarian family there while we were present was very poor and inaccurate (offering a vegetarian soup, that contained chances of meat)

We booked this after being let down elsewhere, and paid top dollar - but it was really over priced for the quality of the room, and thought the pool area is nice I would not return (we have family in Kos and go every year or so)

ok i will start with the little niggles first . bit disappointed that we had to take our own cases to our rooms ourselves. Our room was very basic and not one of the bungalows . . glasseos at pool although nice. .they were broken whist we were there ! Havin said that . . The hotel was lovely and relaxed. The gardens were nice the pool great.. We had no problem with sunbeds . The food was excellent always salad fish c,chicken pork beef plus more always tasty .the deserts gud too. Breakfast was cold meats cheeses .english full . . Breads cereals yogurt fruit waffle pancakes really everything . Whilst we were there there was a taxi strike and because i was unable t hire a bike due to an accident we were a bit stuck but a short slow walk to supermarket . . Got everything we needed. We would definately return and next time hopefully get one of the nicer rooms to make the stay even more enjnyable .
