just back from gaia garden hotel in lambi well where do i start,we arrived after 9pm and had a warm welcome from karen on the front desk who become a little treasure thoughout the holiday.I was going for a birthday holiday for my 50th !! which also turned into best holiday ive had in ages,we took our cases up to our room no 27 which was clean tidy had tv and balcony all very comfy and suited us,we headed to bar where there was a cold platter left for us as the restaurant was closed which went down well with a glass of wine,
Next morning we got up early for breakfast and as we had requested a upgrade in the room before we had come which was mixed up by mistake they let us have a free laptop for the week which looked brand new not that it was used that much !!
we had a lovely breakfast when i say theres everything its a understatement really tasty well seasoned food lovely bread decent coffee great and thats just the breakfast we headed out on a venture to kos town this was my birthday its takes about 20-25 mins to walk to town theres several ways to go we liked the beach walk walking along by the sea with the huge cruise ships at the port lovely,we went to the castle and spent a good two hours walking round the whole area taking photos in the lovely early morning sun it was 5 euros to get in very interesting.
we walked all over town you really cant get lost as its fairly big but all leads to harbour.there is so much to see and do in town gaia gardens a great choice as its a nice walk into town and located in a lovely quiet lane with cows and goats in neighbours gardens not to mention the cockerels the sound of greece how i miss it !!
we arrived back to the room to see the hotel had put a lovely bouquet of flowers and two bottles of wine in the room for my birthday AMAZING how lovely of them was really surprised, you dont get this service in 5 star places we thanked karen at the desk and asked her to arrange car hire for next day for us which she did no problem at all.
the food in this hotel was just so tasty even had gyros one evening lots of lovely meat dishes fish and stuffed peppers/tomatoes roasted veg mmmm was really tasty salads galore peppers olives dips and there was a nice selection of afters too lucky we were walking miles every day or they wouldnt have got me on the plane.
Iwould certainly recommend this hotel to couples who want a great base to see island and explore kos town.
WELL DONE GAIA GARDEN KEEP UP THIS GREAT WORK one of the best hotels we have stayed in

Room Tip: rooms at back are quieter

We stayed at the Gaia Gardens for two nights. It is a small hotel but the use of space makes it appear much larger. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained with lots of "hidden away" seating areas - in the sun and the shade. The restaurant is upstairs and guests can choose to sit inside or outside where there is a nice view of the pool. The food was very varied and of an excellent standard. Our room was very clean, well equipped, and the decor was very homely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will hopefully be returning again next year.

We stayed in August for a friends wedding.
The bar and pool area are nice and well kept, the food frequently luke warm and repetitive, and all inclusive drinks a joke! (Wine, beer, ouzo or brandy only)
I would describe this as a basic facility with very tired rooms, (our toilet was repaired with duct tape and a socket fell of the wall exposing live wires in the shower, which was repaired quickly) situated in a run down area of town the walk to the beach is a bit grim.
Having said this the lady on reception was fantastic and so helpful and it was nice to receive some food when arriving late a night.
I would suggest going in to town for an evening meal as there is some lovely traditional restaurants all reasonably priced and the town has a beautiful ambience in the evening.
Would we return? No a bit too basic and tired for the money you pay.

Dear Guest of Gaia Garden Hotel,

We would like thank you for your feedback. It is always important for us to hear what is our guest's impression hotel. We are trying our best for our distinguished clients and we truly believe that, from the part of the management, we made anything possible to handle the "problem" in the bathroom smoothly, which suddenly came up.
As for the all inclusive drinks, we will take your matter into cosideration.

Thank you once again for your opinion.
We wish you a nice winter and for further inquiries, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Always at your disposal,

Nice ambience, nice pool, good location (rent a bike, few minutes cycling to beach/city center), good breakfast (we didn't had diner, we prefered to have diner in the city center, very nice restaurants).
Only bad thing of this hotel was the bathroom, temperature of the shower was not always hot. Furthermore very good hotel!

Our 1st time to Kos and stayed in Gaia Gardens due to good reviews, location and price (we were not disappointed). On booking, I had requested 2 rooms beside each other, near pool and this is exactly what was provided. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable. We stayed All Inclusive and the food was very tasty with several choices provided. We checked in 5 minutes before evening dinner finished, so we were told to leave bags at reception and go on up to 1st floor to get food before they finished (they also offered us a cold plate to be delivered to us if we preferred - nice start, thanks).

As previously stated the choice of AI drinks is very limited, however we still availed :)!!

You can hire towels from reception for use around the pool. There is a shower room provided for those on a late checkout.

We enjoyed our stay and will be happy to recommend to others

All the right things were there for an excellent but for one thing. All inclusive local drinks wine, small beer, ozzo or local brandy. A vodka and coke or gin and tonic around 4-4.50 euro. This also applies after 11pm. If you want a chat and a drink with friends buy at the local supermarket and sit outside of the room not only will you save money but you will be able to hear. There is only one bar an 9pm onwards is loud.
